Looking for a 75yd and under 22 cal that is capable of shooting light weight slugs ver accurately. Now I’m not looking for super power, I’m just looking for the flatter trajectory of a slug over a pellet without worrying about it being minute of squirrel. I know the vets are heavy, but I’ve heard the new ones do well with slugs, and they are much cheaper than most slug options.

So far I have been very impressed with mine. I’m bench shooting it, more weight the better. I can only compare it to the airguns that I have owned.

Machine work and build quality to me just as good as my S510.

It is definitely robust in every aspect.

The trigger is better than my HW95

The magazines are metal not plastic. It comes with two of them and a single shot tray.

Unchoked CZ barrel.

A lot of Airgun for the money.

So what’s not like? Something subjective like looks and that would be it for me, but I don’t find any tactical gun air or powder appealing.

Check out the brocock line of rifles . I’m sure can find one for your needs. Aoa has a good selection. I’m sure other dealers have similar ones.

My 25 cal is very accurate with slugs! Bought it from tony at talon tunes set up how i wanted so i only had to make a minor hammer spring change to get velocity back to where he had it set ( fla to pa)
Can’t complain other than i wish it had a cheek rest of something other than the cold metal. I put a sticky backed foam pad on mine

They are good. The bottle versions aren’t cosmetically pleasing but they perform very good. The tube version I have in .22 with a 700mm CZ bore does very well with 25gr to 28gr slugs.

How many shots do you get with the tube gun Derrick and what is your approximate tune?

I was getting about 35 shots from a 250 bar fill shooting the 25gr H&N slugs at 950 fps.

@zx10wall , I believe you had your hands on a .25 also? How would you compare their 100Y accuracies? Did one have any advantage over the other?

It's all about finding the right slug for these bores. I never shot MRDs with the .22. I have sold it now.
