Trying to keep them away from a birdfeeder you’re gonna be in for a fight, in my mind it would be like trying to fight off the tide with a spoon. Regardless, I wish you luck.

22gr in a springer??! I salute you! I'd go with 16/18gr max myself

I consider 1-2 a month a win. I went two months in Nov-Dec without any, and I have a camera up. I hit them HARD last spring. I could pretty much get one a day. Then in September I took a few out.
I see them in my neighbors yard, but not mine.

She loves the 22gr. Hits the squirrels pretty hard.

I’ve just started hunting them yesterday trying to save my bird feeders and screens on porch. Got 3 yesterday and 3 today. I put little signs up in the yard to warn them away but they seem to be ignoring them.

Lol I tried that last year while defending my 3 cherry trees. I left a few dead birds i got out around the trees as a deterent ....I can say it definitely didn't seem to work? Hard to quantify that...and the wife was grossed out.
