Give me a few months for the weather to warm up and I will shoot with the HM1000X. But right now I don't shoot to well laying in a snow bank And the targets tend to flop around quite a bit in the snow.

Well I went out today with the Mora and filmed for this, not easy but I did it. Shot three targets at 100 yards with wind of coarse. Lol Editing now, this was just for fun and want to exclude myself from being counted, I really did it just to get the word out and hopefully bring people to the HAM community. Cheers

I think the reason things are slow here is the weather. I know for myself that it’s either single digit cold or near freezing and 25 mph winds! Seems like I can’t catch a break and now as its warming a bit we’re also expecting rain!

Idk how you handle it, but I’d be in the same boat. Definitely not good conditions

Here is my insert to this friendly competition, I decided to kill a few birds with one stone and discuss my experience with the RTI Mora. We did some target shooting and showed the gun being used to take a Coyote at over 200 yards on our last expedition. Cheers

Go for it! Anyone can do it any amount of times. I may need to extend the challenge end date by a month for favorable conditions for some (I've been told storms are killing good shoots lately)...

Okay, I talked to several of you and a few of you have reached out to me by phone and have asked for an extension. I hadn't realized how winter weather could impede shooting. So that said, let's make it March 15 - Ides of March. This gives a couple more weeks for people to hopefully have a clear Saturday/Sunday to get away from their family to participate.

Please guys, please, I cannot have some unbelievable big mouthed-brit win this competition! @Laity Roger Lait Triple-G is currently in the lead. My word, remember the 4th of July!

I’m relatively new to the forum and only recently started shooting aurguns again. Though I don’t really have an appropriate rifle for the challenge, it sounds like fun. I’ll try it with the Barra 250z .22. A week ago we had 9” of snow and now it’s sunny and 74f, great excuse to get out in the backyard lol. I owned radio control hobby shops and held weekly races and learned to accept that some live by: “ If you ain’t cheating, you ain’t trying”. You can’t let it spoil your fun. For me the real fun will be completing the challenge. Maybe I can get my grandkids to try.

It's all about the fun! And from what I've heard from my fellow dealers, the 250z can shoot slugs!

I haven’t tried them at 100yds, but I’ve shot a few 50yd groups with H&N 30 gr slugs. I have some 21 gr H&N and Rifle brand slugs arriving tomorrow and look forward to comparing them.
