This is an unofficial challenge between members.

You can read the beginnings of the discussion here starting with post number 292.

All the details are still being ironed out, so feel free to chime in. 😁

Please be advised it is your responsibility when participating in a Challenge to make sure that you are shooting your airgun in a safe manner. Use an appropriate backstop follow all laws, rules and regulations, read and understand your owners manual. All Challenges past, present and future are for entertainment purposes only and not a “how to” or guide.

My traps are at 30y & 50y on portable one not so much. From the other thread I’m assuming you are planning to use the AV targets from Pyramid. I like these challenges & have participated in an indoor one over the winter & now a 30y challenge both on GTA. These are fun so I’m in when all the details get worked out.

Sounds good 👍.

I think the AV targets that Dan uses would be great. I’m going to add them to a PA order that I have planned this week or next.

If no one objected perhaps start the challenge in September.

Well I can participate in the 20y, I only have a max of 35y in my backyard. 🤣
Coward.....Just kidding😂 80Y is about the safe max on my property so the distance works well. I just saved a lid from a can of beans from lunch. My pesting is anywhere from 20 to 100Y so that is where I try to punch paper at. Gotta get scope tape for the 👻 and set it for up to 100Y. I think my first pack of those paper targets were branded snow peak but are clearly made in the exact same place. $5 American work out to about $7 cdn👍

I received my target today from amazon.
X Ring is 20mm across
9 Ring is 7mm
8-1 Rings are 6mm
Total across the rings is 13cm

I am out of town for the next two weeks, I have ordered the Air Venturi ones, but unfortunately won’t be able to measure them for a comparison till I return.

Though it would expedite the process if our buddy
@Danman ,who already has the AV targets would measure his 🤦‍♂️😂.

I tried finding info on it’s specifics, no luck so perhaps @Danman can help.
That's seem to be a issue with near all of them on what the ring sizes are . It just would kill them to put it in the targets description. Probably don't even know to do so anyway . For air gun it's 1 click = 1/10mm @ 10m it takes 4 clicks to move 1 ring . ( Officially). Then I guess today your lucky to even get any sight on a gun more or less worry about click and ring values .

That ring size math ain't adding up , right?

Just give the with of a ring being there all equal and 1/2 the "x" is times 2 of the ring with

So if each ring is a 1/4inch with then 1/2 the X is 1/2" or 1 inch diameter . The whole target across the rings is 5.5 inch total

IDK, my eyes aren't the greatest anymore up close. Closer inspection 9 ring looks 6mm. It's hard with the solid line between 1 through the outer edge of 8, then they get rid of the contrasting line. The AV targets have better lines.

That 6mm is pretty close to my 1/4" guess at .236 inch ( 6mm/.236") I tried to measure off your posted picture ..lol ...

P.S ..

The black 6,7,8,9,10 is about 2-5/8" diameter , right?

These are real close in spacing but subtle differences! The AV rings are about 5.5mm across whereas the snowpeaks are an even 6mm. I found a 3rd one and ordered some of them too😂....They are neat as the inner 2 circles are white and easier to see hits, with the middle rings black and outer white as well. @Florida_Man yours looked OK except the 10 ring is huge!? Also....about caliber...I'd think .177 or .22? 80Y with my .177 TX kinda horrifies me🤣 Or maybe 20Y .177 and 40/80 .22. I have no issues pitting my TX vs PCPs either 🤩. Just ideas...
