Hard Air Magazine readers first found out about the Reximex Lieva in our report from the 2025 IWA OutdoorClassics show in March 2025. Now they’re shipping in the USA and you can buy this cowboy-style PCP air rifle at Pyramyd Air and Airgun Depot.
The Lieva is an interesting model as it’s “upside down” compared to the normal configuration for a PCP air rifle. This is best shown by looking at the muzzle (photo below).
As you can see, the 3,625 PSI-fill HPA pressure tube is above the barrel. This means that the rotary pellet magazine is below the action, again the reverse of a conventional configuration.
The gun is regulated at 1,450 PSI. This is not adjustable externally. However, Pyramyd’s specs show this will give around 60 shots per fill in .177 caliber. In .22 and .25 cals, it’s about 40.
Muzzle Energy specifications are for 15 Ft/Lbs in .177, 22.5 in .22 cal and 23.8 in .25 caliber.
(By the way, I love the bright yellow Reximex magazine rotors. They make it so easy to load pellets, particularly in poor light. Every magazine should be like this!).
A definite benefit of this “upside down” configuration is that the magazine well does not break the top of the receiver. This makes it ideal for use with open sights – as the Lieva has. It also preserves the aesthetic of the original cowboy action design.
However a riflescope can still be mounted using the dovetail rails, if required.
The underside of the Reximex Lieva has a realistic-looking lever action for cocking.
As well as being available in three calibers, the Lieva is also available in a choice of black and “silver” (more like brushed metal) finishes.
The Turkish walnut stock definitely looks good too!
With a weight of 4.85 Lbs and an overall length of 38.5 Inches, the Lieva should be suitable for a wide variety of owners to handle comfortable.
This is going to be a popular air rifle!
