I was lucky enough to win a .22cal Huntsman Revere Safari at EBR this year. It is a great looking Rifle!

I have not shot it much. What pellets have you found to be the most accurate?

18.13 jsb or jts, trust me its the only pellet you'll need or want for that gun.

Just got back…I shot a 45 out of 48….Matthew shot a perfect score!! First time out shooting HFT for Matthew…That says a lot about the Revere and of course being young, steady, and a darn good shot since he was in High School.

Relatively new to air guns. Own a Weihrauch HW95 and a Huntsman Revere. Just the last few days happened upon an article by Bob Sterne(PCP Airgun Internal Ballistics). Article mentioned there are other articles on PCP's. I'm having no luck finding such articles.

Can anyone point me to these articles. I live in an airgun desert and have few resources other than internet sites.

Absolutely gorgeous rifle, Love that daystate has a decent selection of pcps from simple to excessive, traditional to modern, and truly hope they never quite with the mechanical models. The only fault I could find on her is the right hand only stock and the reason I eventually went AirArms. I'm a sucker for steel on wood quality built pcps. I'd take that 10 times outta 10 over the delta.

I believe they still make a lefty but i think you have to order as most places don’t stock them

Both the wife and I shoot a Revere for FT....Today we will be heading out to what I call the Tuesday Morning Crusty Critter FT shoot. The retired guys have a shoot every Tuesday morning, but there is no standing or kneeling. Our youngest son is home for the holidays and will shoot Barb's Revere and Barb is going to shoot her ghost. Should be a good time hanging with Matthew one last time before he gets onto an airplane back home.

I would guess for ft their 177’s and most likely straight out of the box. I think my 177 is as accurate as my red wolf just lighter on the styx so a tiny bit more care to shoot

177’s bone stock…I did adjust the trigger to a 2 stage on both, but other than that I left them alone. Barb “ stole” my walnut Revere I had for about 1 year, so I got a safari on sale….Both shoot the 10.3’s great!!…

AoA has the 177 under the "specials" section for $1099.00 right now. I think it is the non regulated model. Both of the Reveres we own are regulated.

Hard to believe with the way most airguns are made today that you can buy a revere take it out of the box throw a scope on it pick your favorite slug or pullet shoot a couple to get sited in and go shoot ft , targets in the back yard, or go hunting knowing that if you do your part you’ll hit whatever you’re aiming at! Ya just gotta love a gun that looks that good and shoots as good as it looks! Ive got 2 a 177 and a 22 and while they aren’t the most powerful my 22 is my squirrel hunter.

Who else loves the revere?

Its so accurate I was tempted to put a bipod on it but couldn’t get myself to “damage” the wood. If only it had a matching walnut cheek riser…

Should have added .22 regulated at 195 barg from AoA, I haven’t adjusted anything…it loves JSB Exact Jumbos.

Beautiful, awesome rifles.

Unfortunately i had some bad luck with mines. Ordered a 30 ft/lbs regulated model some months ago but got a 40 ft/lbs one with the Huma reg set at a whopping 190bar only giving 11 shots before falling off instead of the advertised 21 shots (for 40 ft/lbs while i wanted a 30 ft/lbs w 39 shots). Adjusting hammer spring to bring power down obviously is not air efficient when reg is set so high and didn't want to go in and adjust pressure as it would void warranty. So back she went. Replacement came... reg on 190bar again... same thing... huh?

Contacted Daystate support and they said it was completely normal reg pressure set so high from factory and if i didn't get shot count should go back to dealer.

Have Huma regs in my HW100 and AA S510 and 115-120 bar reg pressure is about the sweet spot for 30fpe keeping the rifle air efficient w great shot count.

Can't flaunt the rifle at all. Light, well balanced and easy to handle, not ammo fussy and shot like a laser. Its a dream rifle. Just don't understand what Daystate is about with their reg pressure theory. What a load of bs that was...

Got a refund in end but now i'm kicking myself, should have kept it and changed myself, i miss her.

How does a higher regulator pressure contribute to wasted air when shooting? Isnt it all about adjusting the hammerspring so that the valve only stays open enough to get the velocity you are looking for?
