I didn't hop on the band wagon for the original Delta Wolf, but I did buy an Alpha Wolf shortly after they were released. I followed along the upgrade path with firmware and installed an Ultra Valve when they became available. I really did like everything about the airgun except for the barrels. I had gotten a .177 barrel with the rifle which was very accurate. But I wanted to multi-use the Alpha so I also got .25 and .30 23" barrel setups. I can't tell you how bad these barrels were. The .25 wouldn't stay on a sheet of letter size paper at 100 yards and the .30 was about 6-8" groups at 100.
I had a friend who purchased a .30 Ghost and also had terrible accuracy issues with the 23" barrel.
I know there are those who shoot these in competition, so there are good barrels out there. But how do I know I'm getting a good barrel. For $3500 and a claim of getting an ART barrel, the ones I got in the past looked someone dragged a tool through it. ART my rear-end.
So do I stick with my Red Wolves or is the Delta Wolf Performance worth another look.
