R5M .25 Long Scout Slugs

Well my shooting buddy has been talking with the guys over at Corbin, and he was sent a baggie of these slugs. I wonder if the R5M would be able to sling these slugs.... and then how well they would do.

Honestly I haven't shot many slugs out of this rifle so I am not sure. I did just bump the Huma regulator up to 125bar or a little higher. So hoping I can get some speed out of the rifle to push the heavier slug.

So what have you guys done with your R5M rifles?

@Woogie_man I’m anxious to see what you come up with performance wise shooting long range. I have a little Lelya. I only aim to hit the critters I aim at - squirrels, rabbits, armadillos, crows, and an occasional raccoon.

It has been hectic up here lately. Next time I get to the range I will take the R5M with me and see what it does with slugs.

@Woogie_man How did the .25 Skout slugs perform out of your R5M?

I did not, not sure if it was the speed or what was going on.

But sadly I don't have the rifle any longer, but my shooting buddy does have an order in for the die set. So when they start coming out I should be able to get some slugs made and try them in a few different rifles to see what happens.
