In response to the overwhelming success of the Rattler 357, Western Airguns is proud to introduce the Rattler 45 Long Strike. The Rattler 45 Long Strike offers a whopping 435+ ft-lbs of muzzle energy and 12 regulated target grade shots per fill from its standard 700cc carbon fiber bottle. The semi-auto action incorporates a titanium twelve-shot magazine that can accept 350 grain slugs. A full compliment of shots from the Rattler totals over 5200 ft-lbs of combined energy as fast as you can pull the trigger. Tested three-shot groups with good ammunition give 100 yard accuracy of less than a inch from the hammer forged, USA-made TJ barrel. The versatility of the Long Strike is further enhanced with the easy to adjust throttle valve. This fast easy to adjust feature gives the shooter the ability to set the desired velocity for his bullet of choice. A moderator is included to reduce the report from the high powered shot. The rifle comes standard with a picattiny bottom and side rail for bipod and accessory use. The Western Rattler 45 Long Strike is the new standard for high powered, long range, big bore air rifles.

I wish it was in .457 instead of .452. I'm sure it will drop whatever it hits regardless. 😏 I can't wait for the usual Hog..deer..etc video's.I wanna see someone....anyone Snag a Moose or 400 Lbs Bear (not those starving Yogi's they're always sending to the great picnic basket in the sky). Ijs

Barb and I were at the range when the video was shot….They “Strong Armed” us into shooting it 🤭. As you can see Barb hated it by her expression🤣🤣🤣🤣

It reminded me of shooting black power….more of a steady push back style recoil, then the “explosive” recoil of a powder burner. Super fun to shoot.

I thought I recognized most of the people in that video😅. Does look like a sweet gun for sure!

I’ve been really looking hard at the Western big bores for a while. I kept having accuracy issues I couldn’t figure out with my Slayer. Just found last session it was the DFL adapter causing all the issues and now I’m close to 1-1.5” groups at 100yards so I don’t really have the itch. Oh yeah, my Slayer is a custom lefty from Tom so gonna be hard to part with something like that.

Great shooting rifle. The 12 regulated shots per fill is a big bonus for the platform.

Ahhhh .452? Dang it won’t share my .457 NSA .290s that my Texan is shooting then.
How loud is it Pesty3782?
We were 3-4 benches away when they started shooting it and it wasn't bad at all. Behind the rifle no issues at all...Is it "backyard" quiet I would say not, but ear pro needed for you or people near you...not needed. It is quieter then my 357 bulldog with a DonnyFL on it.

I hope this helps.

I agree, it's surprisingly quieter than my .357 Rattler. Terry has tenitus, he wasn't wearing ear protection when he was hunting with it and didn't bother him.
