Others New Western caught my attention

Thanks for calling our attention to this gun.

I'm looking at the linked specs — and I conclude that 1 of 4 things is happening there:

⛔ either my brain is a bit scrambled after a long day of teachers meetings (entirely possible 🤦🏻‍♂️),

🚫 or the specs are wrong,

🔺 or the gun is not regulated,

⭐ or today's PCPs are way more efficient in power use — resulting in both much higher power and much higher shot count.

Just look at these specs❗:

A .22cal gun
with a 25.5" (650mm) admittedly long-ish barrel
➠ produces 65FPE (max.).

And even at that massive power
with only a measely 150cc air cylinder it
➠ produces 30 shots!

⮕ What say you?❓
Do you have a gun that comes close to that shot count performance at 65FPE? 🤔

I want more information, last night I checked Western’s website but it was devoid.

The current price plus a HAM discount, has me thinking. I’m trying to hold out for something in the 90 FPE range.
90 to 100. That's what we all want. I am trying to get this out of a .22 Panthera . MK 2 22 700. 88 ft/lbs probably max. 78 to 80 comfortable , without over whelming the rifle You probably will have to step up to .25 or .30 to achieve 100 FT/LBS. But like I said 100 out of .22 would be great. Doable ? You could , but @ what expense, or breakage of your rig

Air force condor .22 40 grain = 100 FT/LBS Bingo!!!! Single load but who cares? It is Built tough , great track record & priced right. You can even add a reg to it

That is obviously a brocock monoblock. With that small barrel, there’s no way this thing is making 65ft lbs. I’m calling bs.
It looks like a compatto that was rebranded by western, which makes sense knowing western is owned by AOA which is also the sole importer of daystate/brocock.
Don't you love how one can look @ the rifle & determine exactually what it is. They are what we call in bed together

I tested three of them back to back. They are pretty slick and yes 65fpe, and yes regulated. Outfitted with a SUB-MOA 1:16 slug barrel. There is media that is getting done on it currently but it hasn't officially launched yet. You internet sleuths make soft releases a bit hard 🤣
No not much of a sleuth, just a guy that loves Airguns 😉.

I’m about 85% on buying one, maybe a complete shot in the dark (w/o NV lol) but I think it’s worth the gamble.
