KalibrGun New Cricket is leaking šŸ™

@Hvacguy , if you were asking me what that particular port is for, that one is the atmospheric port.

The fact that it’s leaking says that the regulator is allowing air from the bottle to leak out.

I have already replaced that O-ring that is the likely culprit, the smaller one for the Belleville stem.

I rebuilt the regulator today and so far I haven’t seen anything oozing out of the atmospheric port or any others.

The O-rings that Shane sent me were much more pliable than the extra set that was in included from the factory.

Filled it up and shot it down to the regulator. I’m going fill it back up again and then see how things look tomorrow morning šŸ¤ž.

Also need to email Shane and ask about the valve spring tensioner, it keeps moving. Once I verify the correct depth, I have some blue thread locker that I will use.

Was that first picture taken right after you filled the gun, or was the gun at room temperature? If it was after a fill, take another picture tomorrow and see if it changed more.
It was roughly 1 hour after fill. I have already taken it apart again, lubed the bottle O-ring and the check valve.

On a separate note my Wolverine is doing great lol.

Sounds like it’s time to send it in. Will they cover shipping?
Going to be absolutely positive where the leak is, it lost less air than usual overnight. Possibly more than one leak.

There wasn’t any grease on the bottle O-ring, regardless it won’t be till next weekend when I can deal with it.

The bottle and plenum assembly can be sent off without the rest of the gun so if it comes down to it that’s a plus.

That's frustrating you can't find the leak. Have you tried putting a balloon over the barrel end? Could be having a small valve leak as well maybe?
Yes it is, I plan on removing the bottle/plenum/valve assembly and perhaps trying some dish soap and distilled water, I’m open to suggestions.

If your guns still under warranty I really admire your patience. I'd have sent it in the moment I discovered the leak.
Yes, it’s still well within the 3 year warranty.

My thought was that since it had a defect and if I didn’t like it I would have sent it back within 30 days requesting refund or trade.

However, I do like it very much and it is extremely accurate so I want to be able to fix any issues now and in the future.

This is exactly the attitude you should have if you really want to be an airgunner and not a perpetual postal customer.

Well stated @FL22!
