I’m curious. Are there cons to carbon fiber tanks on airguns?

Oh yeah that’s the only thingOnly thing I can think of is they make some rifles chunkier than a tube would.
My Edgun L2 cf tank has a date on it but I don’t use it regardless i use the original tubes.Don't know about the lifespan for carbon cylinders on air guns but scuba cylinders are done after 15 years regardless of hydro tests every 3 to 5 years
I would think that any kind of container that holds that much pressure should be at least tested and inspected in 10 yrs.The ghost has a carbon fiber bottle and if I recall it has a date stamped on it when I should just toss it (10yrs)....whereas my S510 is steel and sleek but says it needs a teardown and inspection @10 years. Con I'm thinking?
Steel tanks last much longer than aluminum tanks with proper care, inspections, and hydro tests. I live in Florida and have been diving with them for decades. Carbon is lighter and easier for some to handle.Don't know about the lifespan for carbon cylinders on air guns but scuba cylinders are done after 15 years regardless of hydro tests every 3 to 5 years
