I'm not a review writing kind of person, but credit where credit is due.
I purchased a Monster Airguns magazine for my BRK Sonoran from @Montster but it was a Black Wolf version of the magazine (same magazine when you go OEM) and Mont reached out to let me know that Black Wolf version wouldn't clear the port adjuster. Sadly I had him cancel my order. He said he'd reach out when he finished tweaking a version for the Sonoran with @Pesty3782. To my surprise I received a sample magazine from Mont late last week before the snowstorm hit. I thought that was a very generous offer and since I really like the design, worthy of a review.
So here goes my attempt at a review:
I've had my BRK Sonoran since they were first released. I think it's one of the best, most accurate ootb airguns a person could by if they are looking for higher power and 100 yard shooting. With the old style AEA 45gr pellets I was shooting under 1" at 100 yards on any calm day. I've found new projectiles which are nearly as good as those old AEA pellets but getting 8 rounds per magazine is a real bummer when you can get near 45-50 shots out of an air fill, which is pretty darn good when shooting just under 90fpe.
Fast forward I had seen the Monster Airguns magazines posted before, but not for any model I own. When I saw the Black Wolf option I got really excited, only to be slapped with the bad news. Which is now all good news.
Onto the Monster Airguns high capacity magazine, which holds 29 rounds. I've tried other high cap magazines and still use the Midwest Elite magazine with my Red Wolf. The Monster mag is on a whole different level. The simple but very effective gear system allows for super smooth operation and firmly molded pellet/slug seating area compared with a more rubbery band material on others. Loading is very simple as well is operation.

The magazine loads and shoots pellets and slugs equally well.

While the mag takes of a bit of space on the side of the airgun, once you settle into a shooting session it is no bother and you get to enjoy lots of shots. If I were to be walking and stalking I'd use an OEM 8-shot magazine, but I think that would fall under common sense.

If I have to make one complaint it would be to offer a left handed version. As a lefty the mag does cover my right eye view - but that's the worst I can come up with.
Very nicely done Mont. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase these for other platforms.
