Nice real world product testing! How is the roll out going? I saw somewhere that both .22 and .25 are releasing on 24 June, that's not true is it? You had said that .25 would hit a month later, did that change, or is it just plain wrong? I'm ordering this one from Airgun Revisions. He already had a couple of .22's for sale, so I wouldn't be surprised if he got a .25, or two, early. His carbine version of the .22 looks really good. I already bought a bottle, and I want the barrel length on the .25, so I'm skipping that carbine version but it does look practical for a woods gun.I spent a few hours walking some bean and alfalfa fields with a .25 call Gen 3 Marauder. I have it tuned to shoot AEA 29.5g pellets at 915.
I ran into this guy at 25ish yards. He was DRT with a single shot.

Thanks for the update! Yeah, I had heard that at PA so I guess they got that right. I will probably just place an order at AR so that I get one when he gets them. I'll post about it for sure. Surprising that the first buyers were into it enough to scoop one right up, but not be on the forums. The first .25s and more of the .22s are on the way to Pyramyd Air as we speak. Production was building more Gen 3s today.
The roll out has been a little slow. The initial batch of rifles seems to have gone to people that don't participate in forums as there are no comments on them. That has slowed sales down. Once a few people like you buy them and talk about them sales will improve. Rick Rehm and Stephen Archer both have one to review. That will also help.
It was awesome to take this rifle out to get after a few woodchucks. I was getting sub half inch groups at 50 yards with it before we went out. So I knew the woodchucks would be in trouble. I just wish we ran into a few more!
The .22 is not pellet picky at all. It is happy with almost anything. It loves JSB 18.1g pellets. I had them running around 920 fps for some awesome groups at 50.

John , thanks for testing it out on Ghogs! As soon as the CFO/CEO of this Castle agrees on a budget ( sounds familiar ,don't it?) I'll hit the send key on a .25 Gen3 myself. I figured it would be a Ghog slayer from the start.I spent a few hours walking some bean and alfalfa fields with a .25 call Gen 3 Marauder. I have it tuned to shoot AEA 29.5g pellets at 915.

: )Just remember that in June all purchases are considered "Father's Day" presents....
