Indoor to outdoor shooting

Anyone shoot indoor to outdoor either because of limited shooting distance, as a way to lessen noise in case of neighbors, or just out of convenience?
I hunt rats from the inside of my garage into the back storage shed through a back door. It's roughly about 25 yards. It helps with the noise but it's mostly out of comfort being I have a nice solid table to shoot from.

I used to snipe the squirrels from inside my house 🤣. Poke a hole through the window screen to stick the barrel out.
I tried that last summer but I took the screen out, shooting starlings with the S510, benefits: used the kitchen table as a rest, and did not spook em. And we were still eating supper at the time I recall 🤣...it's crazy how much louder the gun was shooting from inside to outside.

I shoot daily from inside my home office to the bird feeder at the back of my property. I have old casement windows so I just keep the hardware lubricated and they open very quietly. I rest the rifle on the window frame and sit on a bench. 100’s of rodents shot over the years. I also have a IR light mounted in another window that floods the yard.

The IR light flooding the yard is a great idea for locating pests!

My son does that. While he’s catching up on charting, Heaven help the chipmunk that dares to show itself!
Btw, he’s since graduated to a Hatsan Gladius in .25 cal. I got him hooked!
