I SHOT MY CHRONOGRAPH

I know the LabRadar is tops, bur what are the differences between the Athlon and Garmin (and FX's latest version for that matter)? Is there a good comparison somewhere?

I have a ShootingChrony with a light kit my first and now backup) and also a Competition Electronics DLX with the light kit. So far so good, I like the smartphone interphase, but I won't shoot it downrange. I use it for testing pellets and overall airgun baselining.

Well there are some that think lab radar is far from tops! I have a garmin and for me its perfect many like the athlon for price and its app. Beyond that you will need more input

Yeah, I've had both. The Garmin is what a Chrono should be. The comparison is really between the athlon, and the Garmin. Whatever is more important to you, is why you might choose one over the other. I used to hate to Chrono when I had the lab radar. I look forward to it with the Garmin.

Thanks, Scriv. I know a fellow who really nerds out with his LabRadar. He's a very technical type that dives into all the science behind it so he understands all the ins and outs.

Some day when my daddy gets rich I want one of them lab radars Chrono. I'm kind of a geek and want to do the BC measuring thing with it. A lot of my 35 years in aerospace was being a engineering tech and I kinda miss it. I drive my wife crazy because I always correct her with the percice answer......
