Others How to fix a BB falling out of a fill whip?

The absence of information on fixing these things is forcing my hand at the moment so I am just going to replace the fitting with a regular shallow brass one that I have, for now. Maybe someone will read this thread and offer a solution down the road. This is the first product that I have seen that doesn't seem to have anyone supplying re-build kits for. I'd imagine that all that would be needed is a new ring to hold the bb's and the bb's themselves, I guess there isn't enough money in doing that.

Yeah i dont know how common it is that someone needs the extended length quick connects. I know the FX Impact and my Ghost have em.....I did insert the regular length fitting on it once by mistake....removal was TRICKY!! Had to use 2 dental pics

I only really need a long fitting for my Paradigm, and sometimes a BRK, but I like using them, they are easier to employ.

The only thing I've rebuilt on a female foster fitting is replacing the Oring(s). I would never think about rebuilding anything mechanical on it. They're just not that expensive to take the chance. Ever turned on the water hose that the other end was left on? Now times that by a thousand! Very dangerous!! Those BBs are all that is keeping the hose connected.

I replaced it. Does a company exist that I can buy these from where I can return a defective one for a new one? Nobody in the industry can make one good enough to offer a return policy? That's pretty sad, especially when everyone is so concerned about safety. These things should be bullet proof at this point, and now they're offering 7,000PSI compressors when these things are failing that never see more than 4300PSI. Who is making the fittings and the hoses that they are using on those compressors? They had better be rated for 10K. Who is going to buy any fitting rated for 5K once the higher rated ones start to hit the market? I have been asking these questions since the 7K HPA stuff started to show up and have never seen an answer from anyone in the industry. I will be very interested to see where the early adopters are going to get their parts from if they have a failure of some kind.

They are a great item to keep in your parts box. Since i inflate to 4500 psi a lot i only purchase the stainless steel female fittings instead of the softer brass. I keep at least three on hand just incase.

Status Quo. Still have yet to hear an answer to any of my questions, from somebody in the business. Soon, very soon, a lot more people will be asking the same thing.

I don't want a ball bearing, I want a company that gives me a good one for a bad one, theirs of course. Why don't these things have warranties like everything else? 9 out of 10 guys on these forums won't buy a high end gun without a warranty but they all by hpa fittings without one. It would seem to me, for liability reasons, you would want your customers to have working parts. I certainly don't repeat buy from people or companies that sell me bad parts.

I don't know about anybody else, but if I was given the choice of an easy swap return, like Amazon does, I would pay %20 more for said part. Considering how few people ever return anything, I'd think they'd make out if they tried it. I'm shocked that I haven't come across any small shops that don't, just to generate business.

Nobody returns anything? were return royalty here lol. But yes you’re right at least offer some kind of a window for an exchange or something
