Ghost Ghost qualified for PAC Finals

2nd place fellow was shooting A very very very long looking 30 cal Panthera. Those things look like howitzers. I didn’t see many Pantheras shooting either.

I thought it odd that The Red Panda required air every mag or two. It had two bottles on it. It was a LOUD rifle. Much louder than the Thomas rifles. Those RP rifles are long too. Initially I thought it was a Panthera. I’m not sure what caliber he was shooting but from my vantage point his pellets looked smaller than 30 but I don’t know that for a fact.

I just want to say congrats for getting to the finals and thanks for sharing your experience. I’d like to do what you did there one day. I’m just starting out and still learning about the different events. I haven’t even shot my new Ghost yet. You inspire me!

Thanks Smitty. The gun certainly is capable of shooting well but the true success comes down to the person behind the trigger and how well they can read the wind to make the necessary hold offs. That is where shooting over wind flags pays the highest dividends.

I dunno but I hope they do.

My hats off to the entire crew at Pyramid Air. They worked their butts off and don’t get enough credit for all the behind the scene work that made this event flow smoothly. I would guess they are all pretty well spent and deserve a few days off with pay after what they pulled off. Thanks again guys and gals from Pyramid!

BTW, the field target event is just now wrapping up so they are still hard at work.

Yes the Pyramyd folk plan to get the results out ASAP. They will be at the Pyramyd Air Cup website. I also have the results myself and will be making a post about it. It was a big event and everyone was tired at the end. (Then everyone has to catch-up on their own lives - I had a 6-hour drive home, for example). That's where the delay comes from...

@hameditor , It was good to see you there roaming around with your camera. Wish I had a chance to meet you but it wasn’t meant to be. Perhaps next year.
I'm sorry we didn't meet also! In future, HAM members should just accost me an say hello! Otherwise I don't know who you are. But @igolfat8 I look forward to meeting you and chatting next year 😀
