EVOL Evol Slug barrels??

Tom has moved his operations to Arizona. He is doing well and extremely busy. Takes a lot out of you moving from one state to another, especially when you involve moving a business. I’ve done it too many times with the military, so I can relate to the stress level involved. The new offerings coming will be worth the wait!!

Corbin. I would give them a call. I have been talking with them as a local shooter has been testing different dies for them. Will be getting a set up and testing slugs as well here soon.

We were sent some of the new sniper slugs as well that we need to play with.

Ignore the handguard, that was another order.

so i assume the they are still testing?
i will reach ot to them this coming week.
and so far your tossing them with your AAA paradigm stock barrel i assume?

Correct still the stock barrel. Have tried Tom a time or two, but don't want to pester him when he is working on getting things set back up. At 50 yards I was hitting a rock the size of a half dollar easily. The rifle is set up to shoot the 25.4 grain pellets, so these slugs are a tad lighter. They were easy to load and cycle through the magazine.

But as we saw when I was testing all the other slugs, past 50 yards things went to garbage quickly. Thus why I am wanting one of the slug barrels, hopefully in .218 diameter, so I can make this a laser with slugs. Have been toying with the idea od trying one of the Epic barrels to see if the threads are the same.

you dont have a machine shop local? almost every place has a local machine shop some old fart on a manual machine can re-thread a barrel? thst is very basic kinda work for a small shop?
just let them know it has to be centerted i would most likely eith run it in a colet if the bore is cenered ( easy to find out ) or run it on centers and use a dog?
this is 101 kinda stuff

There is always the option of using a machine shop, but I would have zero idea on the leade needed for slugs. And it would be a total crap shoot if the barrel would shoot slugs anyway. I know the Epic Two barrels are CZ barrels and they supposedly shoot slugs quite well. In all reality I would want to stick with actual AAA parts, but I want something and I typically have a tough time waiting for things.

This person was NOT Tom but well connected with airgun industry.

Epic Two appears to me more than anything a copy of the Evol. As for me and my money, I'll support the real deal USA made.

Dang my interest is piqued for sure!
It should be...I usually underplay things to come and don't like the hype marketing in the industry. However, the barrel I saw shot the week before EBR did some spectacular groups. I believe SUB MOA is going to legitimately be a game changer, though I hate that phrase even when it applies.

I am excited about it. But patience is good. It will come when it comes and that will be soon enough.

so is Tom working with sub moa or parnters or is Tom setting up his own barrel factory?
Well it's been months since EBR, but at the time they (SUB MOA) was going to provide barrels to AAA. Tom works for his own company obviously. If the barrel supply has changed since then, Tom will say so on this thread. My assumption is that SUB MOA will be providing the majority of the barrel supply for AAA. @American Air Arms

i thought Tom told me he was setting up a barrel shop so maybe i missunderstood what he was saying

I am sure they have some arrangements. I will let Tom add clarification if there is any needed. I wanted to just mention the above video link and what I saw first hand. It was good stuff.

It would be a bad time to be a counterfeit at the range. I'll leave it at that 🤣
