You have the .30 Condor 24" barrel?

If I feel confident enough about my mechanical abilities, I will fix or modify the gun myself. I have dived into several break barrel rifles, cleaned out the factory garbage, polished the rough edges and installed new spring kits myself with success. PCPs? Most have worked ok except two that leaked when new and were sent back to the factory under warranty. I have replaced various O rings on some, but I cringe thinking about diving into an FX Impact. These have too many O rings and teeny weeny parts inside. Luckily, I have a friend who lives nearby that can do that stuff. I hate shipping rifles to "tuners". I don't mind paying their prices, but the shipping costs is what spoils it for me. One exception-if I need a RAW tuned or repaired, I send it to Martin Rutterford at airguns-usa.com. I know when I get it back the rifle will perform to it's maximum capability.

I understand your dislike of shipping fees. I was directed to PirateShip several years ago for all my shipping needs. They use UPS & USPS at about 60% of the cost. For me, PirateShip saves a ton of loot. There are no hidden fees and both UPS & USPS pick up right at the house. At Christmas, we saved more than $100 sending gifts to grandkids (for those gifts not sent via Amazon Prime). It costs nothing to set up an account and I've found them reliable as well as inexpensive to use. Orv.

I have the Talon Tunes .30 TJ barrel. I had wanted one for many years and then had to wait close to 3 months for it to show up. When you buy one it has to be fitted to whatever brand of gun he has sold it for.

I could have gotten an AEA HP Max, MA3 or waited for the 750z .30 but I had been wanting this long before those last 2 were a thing and I like the Airforce Utility gun platform, I am not a fan of guns that leak, broken regulators, or bad barrels from the factory that have to be replaced. I looked at it as having a new gun, not as buying a barrel. I wish Airforce offered them and in all the different lengths. Florida Bullfrog has one cut down to 12-inches in a TalonP that he traded for, and it is awesome. He had some videos reviewing it, shooting it, and hunting with it before UTube took down his airgun channel a couple of years ago. That was my favorite channel to watch, such as shame it is gone. :(

I know the exact videos you are talking about. His TalonP looked awesome, and megapower! He was why I got my own TalonP, very inspirational. His "survival chicken" breeding program is an interesting concept too.

Talking to him is what got me started on getting Airforce Utility guns and he darn near had me talked into getting a TexanSS .308.
I loved his camping/survival videos, but all of his stuff was fun to watch for me. Yes, the survival chicken stuff is great also and very true. He wrote a book on it.

I would love to have his TalonP with that .30TJ barrel in it.

I do any needed work on everything I own and always have. I'm 68 and still change the oil and rotate the tires on our cars/pickup myself. I may not know exactly what I am doing to start with but I always figure it out.
