Spring/Piston Diana 46 crony specs

I just bought one of these. Seems to shoot and operate just fine and is very accurate. However, using Crosman HP 7.9gr pellets it only gets 754 FPS and 10 FPE. Perhaps it needs a new piston seal or do I have a European version that is slowed down for their restrictions?

I have the 46st T05 model of 2002 and mine shoots the HN sport 8.18@790fps for 11.3fpe and the HN econ 7.60@790fps for 10.5fpe With heavier pellets it's in the low to mid 700. The gun has almost the same powerplant as the model 34 but due to the loading system it has a very long transfer port and that's where a couple fpe is lost. Yours probably needs lubing (work with mine, the spring and seal were bone dry) and as usual try other pellets to see what it likes. The F version is 5.5fpe or less

Just did another crony test yesterday with the same pellet (it's preferred one) and it made 784 fps and 10.8 fpe. Not sure what changed, but it's doing better!!

What chrony are you using? There are a lot of factors that can affect the results, and not all may be gun related.
