Spring/Piston Diana 350 Magnum - Best Scope

I've heard good and bad about these scopes but mine is holding up nicely so far on my TX...the Hawke Airmax 4x12x40. Really clear glass (literally beats out my $600 Helix) and most importantly Excellent warranty if it does get its guts trashed. And yes my TX has busted it loose once already and it slid back as far as it could bc I didn't have a torque screw driver so I just installed snug when I bought it. Never did recheck till I realized what happened. 🤦‍♂️ My brother threw a Cabelas brand scope with the Diana ZR recoil mount on his....didn't matter, scope still got trashed in less than 1 year.

I'd try a athlon Talos at about $160 or so ..

It's has a "no questions asked lifetime warranty" that's in my opinion an springer must have ...lol especially that Diana.

Shop for a deal or sale . This place changes the price oftin on sales and has had them as low as $140 .

I keep this book marked and check oftin ..

I'd also get a bolt on rail maybe a weaver or pictnilly that clamps on the weak Diana factory one ..

The recoil of a Diana 350 is a scope killer and this is going to be a great research project for me. Hopefully I can find something that will last at least a tin of pellets, lol.

If all else fails you can toss in a tune kit from Vortek or the like. My brothers is smoothed out but yeah she'll still beat on scopes. As Hateful said...get a NO BS warranty...if no where does it say anything about being airgun rated, ask or move on to something else! And an etched reticle obviously. The Dampa 1 piece springer mount from Sports Match might be a good idea as well.

I've used it his on a gamo and hw/r9 and hatsan and it's still going ..

I bought one used and sent it in to athlon and it was quick turnaround. ( Days to ship it to them - 3 or 4 days with them and shipping time back ) Not a months later wondering where my scope at 🥴 ...

Anyway I just found that a scope buster guns just needs a no questions asked and athlon is at Kansas city ka. Area.

Hawke would do as well . Don't hear much complaining from there stuff ..

Tuning it will help out a lot when it comes to breaking scopes. Without the tune, get a Hawke. I had one break years ago on a springer and they sent me a new one with no problem. Maybe a Leupold 3x9x40 rimfire with AO as an option, but Hawke Airmax is what I would put on a 350 if I had one. Honestly, I have been planning on buying a 350 just to have one, but every time I look they seem to be out of 22cal's. If I bought one, the first thing I would do is buy a tune kit.

Yes go .22 if you buy a Diana 350!!! I can't stress that enough🤣... The 2 I shoot are both .177 and wayy to much power to be very accurate. They both send 10.5 gr heavies past 950FPS which can be accurate, than another day no way. Too much kick and vibration, but the 10gr JSB KO slugs are working well for my brother. He and I had a starling slaying competition this summer, I got maybe 15 with the S510 he was well past 25....its a Lazer with slugs!

It's another online auction find, so I unfortunately couldn't choose caliber, it's a .177 and yes it hits hard, healthy recoil 😅. I will try the JSB KO Slugs, heavy is the best way to go with this beast.

Any good scope line with a lifetime warranty, such as Vortex.

I can suggest the AirMax, and I have had good luck with an Athlon Neos on both a Hatsan 125, Diana 460 and a Diana 54, though no more than a few hundred shots total on that scope.

Athlon now has a Heras designed for airguns.
You might want to look into those.

I know someone that owns a 350M and they do eat more scopes than the average bear. Whatever you get, send in your warranty card, and keep the receipt. The only sight, or rather, type of sight, that can take this shock all day long that I know of, is any of the smaller slide mounted red dot sights they sell for pistols these days. Those pistols hand out two-way recoil too, especially with +P+ ammo, and the dots are designed to take it.

Make sure to tell us how she works with slugs! For my super magnum Diana I will be looking at the 460 in .22.

I found these H&N 20gr Slugs. They seem heavy enough to tame the velocity of the 350. Going to buy a tin today!

You could check here on them slugs and maybe try these if your testing around for something to use.

They got some weight ..

Never mind I forgot your .177 . Let me go back and see

Oof wish I saw this sooner😅, those will definitely be waaay to heavy for you Diana and will not be nice to the mainspring! We shoot the 10.03 KO (gen 1?) slugs in smallest Dia. and they are deadly shooting @ 925ish. Then to be extreme we bought 15gr Wildman slugs and ran them....no go too heavy with 2 much drop for practical hunting ranges. 20 gr in .177 would be ideal for a 30FPE + pcp. 10 to 13 gr ammo is the sweet spot for this gun it seems.

It'll be fun finding out how they shoot! Slowing down fps with a heavy projectile is usually a good thing. I'm not worried about the mainspring, it should be fine.
