Daystate To Show Four New Air Rifles At The 2026 British Shooting Show

Apparently there has been some “fake news” in the U.K. confusing the cancellation of the National Shooting Show there with the – very much running – 2026 British Shooting Show.

In confirmation that the 2026 British Shooting Show will be taking place, please read the following Press Release from Daystate. This confirms the company’s participation at the show, together with some information about their plans.

Note that – unlike the “industry only” SHOT Show and IWA OutdoorClassics, this is a consumer-focused event that is a highlight of the British airgun enthusiast’s year.

Daystate/Brocock and MTC Optics sign up for the British Shooting Show

Daystate has confirmed it will occupy its largest and most ambitious stand to date at the 2026 British Shooting Show, promising visitors “the biggest and best” showcase the company has ever delivered.

The new, enlarged, and revised stand is currently being commissioned and will feature a full-sized raised floor for the first time. This design not only improves accessibility but neatly conceals electronic cabling and eliminates potential trip hazards for visitors and staff alike.

Measuring an impressive 14 by 10 metres, the stand represents an increase of 80 square metres over the company’s 2024 footprint.

Daystate has also revealed that at least four new rifle models — not seen at the 2025 show — will be on display. These will be supported by an expanded on-stand retail area offering a wide range of accessories from the popular Daystate, BRK and MTC Optics Performance Centre catalogue.

The development of the stand has been a major project throughout 2025 and represents a significant investment by the company. According to Daystate, this commitment underlines its strong belief in the British Shooting Show as the UK’s leading shooting industry event for 2026.

Enhancing the visitor experience even further is the introduction of a new range layout called the “Safari Experience.” Daystate and BRK have doubled their range space, adding four new shooting hides. With a single ticket, participants will be able to shoot four different rifles from a selection of eight of both companies’ air rifles, engaging with 16 targets in total.

At just £6 per entry, the experience offers excellent value — and shooters who successfully knock down all targets will be rewarded with a free ticket. Visitors can also receive £1 off their range ticket by presenting the Daystate advert in the official show catalogue at the point of purchase.

With more space, new products, an enhanced shooting experience and exclusive offers, Daystate’s presence at the 2026 British Shooting Show is shaping up to be an unmissable highlight for shooting enthusiasts.

Hopefully some HAM Community visitors to the show will be able to post photos and information about the airgun-related aspects of the event…

According to Expedia, round trip flights from - say Pittsburgh to Birmingham International airport - are in the $650 to $700 range for economy in February. Plus hotel, etc.

I'll guess two guns at the show:
- Ghost 28" blue special edition
- Black Wolf something or other
What I'd LOVE to see😍:
-An updated Ghost (not just external bolt ons) built to fight the FX M3/M4 head on, built to shoot slugs well, faster twist barrel, etc.
-OR a simplified, (cheaper than B.W.), traditional wood stocked, mechanical slug shooting rifle that can hit 50fpe min in .22 (think Revere but on Steroids) Take my money. Excited to see the show coverage!

Would love to ACTUALLY get a slug barrel for the Ghost!

Something that would compete more in the NRL22 world..... something between a DRS PRO and a Ghost. High power enough to shoot heavier slugs, externally adjustable from the outside.
Why not try the brk 22 slug barrel the ghost will push 40 gr to 920 or so 75 fpe

Great, four new models, let's hope they finally fix the internal ballistics, they are already lagging behind other manufacturers in terms of performance, which is not good for a company like Daystate, which was the pioneer in PCP innovations. Oh yes, the Chinese also made funny vehicles 20 years ago and today the world trembles with them...
