C88 machining adaptor for Avenger

I received a new C88 machining adaptor for my Avenger 2 .25 last week. I paired it with a "Motorcycle Muffler" moderator I purchased on Amazon. Carried it out with 2 loaded mags a little while ago.. At first, I honestly thought my rifle was busted. Trigger "ting",. Yes, pellet slapping backstop, yes definitely. Then I remembered the new moderator and adaptor. Can't believe the difference in sound. How can these moderators not be huge big time major sellers? Especially at only $29.00. I've got several that sell for well over 100.00 that don't even come close.

It is, especially since my regulator is set for hunting.by Pyramyd when I ordered it. Looks like 2700. Was firing the Impulse Air 26 grain hpbt slugs. Ohh, and they weren't particularly accurate either.

Did you find something that was accurate? I don't remember mine being particularly pellet/slug picky.

Oh yeah. The Hades, the AEA's, even the Apolo pellets shoot great. Its just those Impulse Air slugs. The Avenger 2 just don't like them.

PapaT, all his are made for .177 to .25. Replaceable end caps, steel insets, replacement set of baffles all come with. Walls and caps are really thick made, for the price, you should try you one. You know how loud the Avenger 2 is. If it will hush that barkin dog, you know it will, or definitely should, put the whup on anything less. Ohh, and he sends you 2. One maybe 6.5-7 long, and maybe 4 to 4.5. Long. Both made same.

Other than the barrel stabalizer, its identical. At least in the look and feel. I've got several Donny's for my air force rifles.
