I have been working on tuning my Wolverine and have had it partially apart 10 or so times. This is the first Airgun that I’ve tried to tune.

I have started noticing that during the last 50 or so bar of a degass (finishing with a loud puff) and the first 120 bar of a fill, there is a very noticeable amount of air coming from the barrel.

Is this a concern, if so where should I concentrate my repair efforts?

Can't believe that no one has responded ...
I would suspect that you have the stroke set too short which will result in no free flight. Go counterclockwise till the velocity decreases below your intended set point, tjen clockwise back to the velocity you want...

Thank you, Bob. I appreciate the help.

Replace the exhaust valve and seat if it’s a serviceable part, it should help

Well 5 days passed it’s lost 50 bar.

I was hoping just to replace an O-ring here or there as needed, but it’s become abundantly clear to me that I need to order a complete kit and do a reseal.

I would like to say something, just in case anyone is wondering, there will be no complaining on my end. I accept whatever issues this Airgun has now and in the future, I will work through them.

I am still very happy with my decision to buy it.

And THAT is why I only buy gorgeous airguns....you can't hate them even when they are broken bc they're so good-looking.😆 You're gonna be an expert on wolverines soon enough! How many o-rings in the complete kit you think?

The Wolverine kit is universal and I will also need a regulator kit.

Nothing like a positive attitude 😀

Honestly I grabbed a reg rebuild kit for my Ghost last time I was on Humas website ordering stuff. Its far better to have em and not need em! I labeled em and tossed in my dresser drawer. Contemplating getting another toolbox for my airgun stuff and putting it in my shop. Free up some room in my bedroom 😂

That’s right, you can’t have enough O-rings lol.

Another toolbox???… toolbox. Nope, you’re planning on having 5 Airguns, right? You sir need a dedicated Airgun workbench with drawers and a file cabinet, easy yard sale finds.

😁

I own 2 roll cabs (one at work place, one at home shop) and it dawned on me recently that another would work great for airgun stuff....maybe just a bottom cab, would be beautiful for an airgun equipment cache! Could store pellets, lubes + cleaning supplies, parts, o-rings inside, etc. Less in the bedroom for the wife to see=happier life and possibly more airgun stuff😅
I have a nice work table (currently covered 1foot deep in Honda civic parts lol) that will double as an airgun work bench someday🤔
A filing cabinet could definitely work too!
