Others American Air Arms picture thread.

I need to find a slayer for deer hunting up here.
same here!
Order one, or two of them. You won't be disappointed.
i think there is a pretty large holding area just to get in line to get one.
i do beleave Tom said he was going to make them a production gun if so that woud be nice!
i think my next gun will be a mini but if a slyer popped up at the rite price i would not snub nose at it.

Did some spring cleaning on the Slayer last night, tearing it down to clean the valve, then took it out to the range today to test some new swaged slugs. I dialed for 100 yards but proceeded to throw the first shot high and left. The next five were touching each other for an moa group. The 175 yard post's shots strung vertical and about 1.5 moa, probably due to some pressure fluctuation. The 11 shots at 235 yard ram had five wind and pressure fliers and two groups of three stacking lead on top of each other.

Save your pennies Woogie; Tom's making more of a new redesigned version of the Slayer that you'll want to buy. They are well worth the wait with the new valve, receiver, and barrel. This particular Slayer is one of the first design's made over 5 years ago with the original balanced valve, coned moderator, TJ's barrel, etc. It's had pounds and pounds of lead slung through it by me alone and is a solid, well.engineered machine.

How do you like it? Looks super compact and light
I do like it a lot as far as weight savings and compactness. The reticle is not too small at low power, nor too big at full power either. Not that I need it, but it parallax focuses down to like six yards. It is a good little hunting and benchrest shooting scope with about a perfect magnification range for all airgun distances. The only somewhat negative thing about it is because of the 24 mm front lense it is a little lacking on the field of view at full power, but this was to be expected.
