I wonder if Tom will venture into producing rifles with bottles, would be nice to have more shots per fill esp with the shorter barrel HPS offerings with its reduced air tank capacity

I hope not. He's got a good looking gun with a decent shot count with the titanium tube. Plus, the airgun market is full of "bottle" guns and so the competition there would probably be cost prohibitive to redesign the whole gun to accept it. There's plenty of work-arounds for both sitting at a bench or hunting stumps to get more air.

I certainly hope not. The guns have a perfect line and feel right now and a bottle would just make it ugly. I just don't understand the constant demand for bigger bottles and more shots.

My HPS .30 Mini will do 16 shots @ 64fpe. (45grs @ 800 fps) on a fill. That's just under 2 mags. That's plenty good enough for me considering the small profile, size and weight of that air rifle.

@Slugslinger Out of curiosity, what would you be shooting at with a .30 Evol that would make you want to have a higher shot count? Last I shot my Evol, I think I can get two mags from a fill.

Would be nice if there was some sort of registry. I’ve had one or two muscle cars that qualified for such.

Anyone can do it unofficially starting a thread, “American Air Arms Registry” just not sure how much participation it would get.

I show the serial numbers to my Airguns here all the time and I don’t care. I’m never selling them so no one has to worry about getting one I’ve messed with lol.

There may be a few or my previously owned rifles that have my initials somewhere on the rifle. I had gotten into the habit of doing this while in the military. Marked things for when they "go missing" I was able to re-acquire them and be good on things.

That's a good idea. I never even considered marking my weapon in the Army but I remembered the serial number! Man, I am getting old, I forgot all of them, and I don't remember any of the 200 phone numbers that I used to store in my noggin either.

That’s impressive you still remember the serial number, that stuff really sticks. Funny how the brain holds onto random details like that but lets phone numbers disappear. Happens to the best of us.
