i was thinking how cool it would be to carve a pumpkin with a air gun doing it would be cool.
anyone want to carve a pumpkin and post some pics?
may set some basic rules and see what we can do?
i think let come up with a yardage a time frame and some way to vote on a winer.

@hameditor if this could be a contest , I will donate 5 tins of .22 Hades 15.89 tins to the winner.

I wont be partaking in the contest but I will surely be a part of it that way, only a week left of october but this is my contribution if it is made into a HAM event.

Behold HAMenstein's monster. Created today in my rainy, windy backyard laboratory at 25 yards. Surgery was performed with a recently acquired Daystate Huntsman Classic XL.
I fear a mistake was made in his creation. A .20 caliber rifle was used, which may well cause him to be overtaken by madness. Or become a hipster. .22 is so mainstream...



Brought him inside for the next step of the operation. While removing the internal organs, had this nagging feeling that something was missing. As the last seed was plucked, it hit me- this dude needs some grill work. Gold is out of the question on a mad scientist's salary, so went with a .30 caliber lead insert. Nice.


Surgery completed, he now lies on the porch awaiting a blood transfusion (to be applied with a Zippo lighter). Additional photos tonight after the creature is brought to life. If I survive...

Finally got my pumpkin done. It was alot harder than I thought. I had to use my husband's EVOL 30 cal because my BRK has not come in yet. I could not get that scope to cooperate with me. I'm not used to scopes. Notice she has a beauty mark next to her mouth? Lol

The rough edges chipped off by the pellets really add some spook factor once they're lit! This is my carving method from here on out, knife only for skull cap removal. Need to get something lower powered then could do that by airgun too- don't want to blow out the bottom, need that for a candle holder
