i was thinking how cool it would be to carve a pumpkin with a air gun doing it would be cool.
anyone want to carve a pumpkin and post some pics?
may set some basic rules and see what we can do?
i think let come up with a yardage a time frame and some way to vote on a winer.

thats what i was thinking boss

but we need some guidelines so every one get participate
maybe a 10 yard a 50 and a 100 yards?

OK, great suggestion by pan60! Let's make it a HAM Contest. How about 10 Yards and 25 Yards as the ranges? Results are submitted by photograph.

CTAirgunner, thanks for your most generous prize offer. It's accepted! For a second prize, we'll give a free HAM hat and 250 HAM Points.

Let's get shooting!

Rules are:
- Carve a face on a pumpkin by shooting an airgun.
- You can draw the face on first, if you want.
- Range 10 Yards or 25 yards.
- Closing date Friday November 3rd (Halloween Plus 3 Days) 2023.
- Post your photos in this thread!
- First prize is 5 tins of .22 caliber JSB hades pellets, submitted by @CTAirgunner.
- Second prize a HAM hat plus 25 HAM Airgun Points.
- We'll choose the winners by a vote of "thumbs" after each photo post.

Thanks to @pan60 for suggesting this idea :)

Behold HAMenstein's monster. Created today in my rainy, windy backyard laboratory at 25 yards. Surgery was performed with a recently acquired Daystate Huntsman Classic XL.
I fear a mistake was made in his creation. A .20 caliber rifle was used, which may well cause him to be overtaken by madness. Or become a hipster. .22 is so mainstream... :p

Brought him inside for the next step of the operation. While removing the internal organs, had this nagging feeling that something was missing. As the last seed was plucked, it hit me- this dude needs some grill work. Gold is out of the question on a mad scientist's salary, so went with a .30 caliber lead insert. Nice.

Surgery completed, he now lies on the porch awaiting a blood transfusion (to be applied with a Zippo lighter). Additional photos tonight after the creature is brought to life. If I survive...

Edit: It's ALIVE!!!
