As a benchrest and match shooter, it sure is. A little customizing for personal feel and weight and balance goes, and then test for your ammo of choice is all anyone would likely need to do to it. It has fine tuning air flow adjustments to fine tune the shot harmonics and one sweet cut and finished barrel to lob pellets or sling slugs with likely sub-moa precision as it sits.

I see now what you meant now.

Prettying up any type of gun in colors is the trend currently. This color trend holds especially true for competition anything, especially in colored laminates. A couple of years ago one of the Team AAA benchrest competitors had his Evol anodized in a splash red and silver color. It looked pretty good, especially as a competition rig. This HPS Apex being a competition rig, the blue color scheme sets it apart from the original black, dual purpose hunting or benchrest Evol line.
