I wish I had seen this when it first came out. Now I will have to give it a try. I feel like if it were a real bell target, you have to get inside the line to score the higher number, rather than the usual paper target scoring rules that count the higher number if you touch the line. I'm sure first attempt will be abysmal, but I hope to improve with practice.

Did we decide on 8 shots or 10?

Now I see Bill M proposed another competition, so I'll take a peek at that one too.

I always do it as 10 shots, personally. I don't know that anything other than "off-hand, with irons" was ever established. Also started as sproingers, and I added in pumpers because I can't help myself.

Just recently purchased this new Diana two fifty. Shot less than 100 rounds through it. Thought I would try this challenge with it. My very first post on here and first challenge. Alot of fun. Have targets ordered for the 50 yard bench challenge. Will use my PCP's on that. Not much on the shooting but it is fun and can get my grandson involved also. He loves to shoot!

Hello and welcome to HAM. What PCPs do you have?

Well, new month means new Bell Target Challenge with a new gun!
Temperature: 67 feels like 76 is what I believe the weather app said. Light winds, not really noticed.
Rig: Daisy Winchester Model 1873 (3 pumps)
Pellet: Benjamin Discovery hollowpoints (7.9gr?)
Distance: 15 yards
Notes: Just prior to this I put 10 shots on a "stretching it out" challenge at 15 yards. For comparison, the 9 ring is slightly smaller than the bell target outer ring. But the 95/100 2X I scored on it had me feeling good so I went for the 🔔. I still haven't pellet tested the gun, and probably have less than 100 pellets through it so far.20261006_164218.webp
