PCP RAW HM1000X Mini Hunter .22

With RAW's cult following I wonder how many others have bad experiences too but are afraid to post their experiences.
Thats a good question. Im not afraid to post about my experiences good or bad. I will hold off until I can figure out what is wrong with it, or try to but once im very confident in knowing what the problem is ill post about it. Is what it is. Things slip through sometimes with all companies at times

Gun got to RAW last night and is already on its way back to me. This is what they did.

Replaced:
Probe
Inertia weight
Fill gauge

Lubed:
Hammer
Probe

Worked on:
We hit the breech, eliminating any sharp edges. Also polished and ensure probe seated correctly. As well ensuring pellets slide in without shaving them.
Lubed the airgun. It was dry and this will help with the ease of cocking and overall condition of the airgun.

Reg pressure was also higher than should be so they dropped that. Sent a test target with a full mag and it seems to be shooting really well. There's service was unbelievable. Props to Mike Hardy and his team for the work!

Well the extra air coming out after the projectile leaves the barrel
That's a possibility. Moderators and air strippers could affect accuracy. One thing that affects it most is the crown. The face of the crown must be perfectly perpendicular to the bore with no sharp or damaged edges where the bore exits. LW makes a huge number of airgun barrels, most good but some not so.

With all due respect, I have an old Avenger .22 and the barrel was cut off, at the factory, with a CHOP SAW! There are semi circular scratches, from the saw, on the face of the muzzle. There is NO crown at all and the end of the barrel is not square to the OD or bore. This gun has won our indoor Benchrest series for the last 5 years. It’s stupid accurate. It will shoot sub-dime size groups, outdoors, at 50Y in calm conditions too. It’s a unicorn for sure, but this gun is proof that muzzle condition is not the end all - be all that many might think it is.

Luck of the draw.
