edit: I just shot my 22 cal Zelos. I have a 110C 30 cal mod (i was told it was a 22 cal when i bought it used) and with it tuned to 900 fps with 18.13gr all i can hear is the valve strike. It is long, but I am working on a solution for that.

What's the valve strike sound? Is it a loud ping when shot?

took my stryker apart PaPaT was kind enough to send me a video and i have had a chance to look up some more. the air tube is in so tight i had to order a strap wrench it will be here tomorrow ill let you know how it goes

I shot slugs in the Bulldog M357 this morning for the first time so kept it at 30 yards. Still at the factory settings. As expected, the NSA 110gr HPs did well. The Desperado 125gr solid 10 BHN Cowboy Action slugs did well also as long as they were going at least 900fps, so I would get 2 good shots and one flier. For this reason, I might give it a bit more hammer spring tension to bring up the speed a little, but I would rather not because it would probably mess up shooting pellets. Can't start at 3000psi because of the power curve, 2800-2900 is best power. I had no problem shooting the Desperado Cowboy action slugs sized to .356, .357 and .358. Even though this gun looks a bit strange I really like it. It is lot of fun to shoot and the DFL emperor does a really good job on it. The fill cover is a bit odd but the only thing I really do not like about the gun is the cocking handle location. It should be farther forward above the trigger assembly. 1st shot with 125gr Desperado .357 is 921fps 235.5fpe. I still hunt in the woods and almost every deer I have killed with the exception of one at about 300 yards have been inside of 30 yards, so I am good with this.

Haven't run the data yet, but groups all look approximately minute of squirrel, even the 30gr H&N slugs. Was a perfect day for pellet testing, so Pinty Vanguard and I obliged. 16 pellets, 1 slug, 8 shot groups. Refilled after every 2nd magazine (every 16 shots). Then I ended the session with 8 shots off-hand, 50 yards, at my bell with the 30gr slugs. First shot gave me adjustment information for hold, next 6 were solid rings, last shot was pulled and missed just left.

Nova Liberty .177 modifications may be done. I added a 4 gr. Brass hammer weight this morning and it's shooting over 1000 fps with jsb monster exact 13.43. I gained 80 fps roughly. With a blue "heavy avenger" spring and an adjustable hammer spring the only mods. Regulator turned up to 2200. I'm happy enough with it. Over 30 fpe to play with. That's a cheap set up, between the rifle, pinty scope, rings 200$ and a lot of tinker time.

I used to do that at about 10 feet with my old daisy BB gun when i was MUCH younger. Sitting with elbows on knees in our back yard. Sweet memories.

That is a sweet looking optic on the Zelos, what is it?

Some testing and some shots with 147gr from 100 yards, testing and shots were taken tethered with 3200 psi. AEA 357 Big Bore.

Put scope on my Umarex NXG APX Multi-Shot, and sighted it, to prepare for pellet testing. Ready for 6 pumps at 25 yards, when the wind isn't around to ruin it.

Also took some pictures of my current pumper collection. Plus started work on the Year of the Pumper coin designs for commemorative coin I'm commissioning.

Hunting gophers. I have roughly 5 acres. They can live anywhere they want. Except on my septic mound system. So where do you think they dig. I've tried everything except poison/traps. Because I have dogs. Today I fed them some Notos. Looks like I'll be hunting all summer
