Whats a brand you wont own again

I've got two of their rifles a 25 and 30 caliber. Only complaint i have with either one is the triggers. Just too heavy! No serious target work with either one.
I think that is the most common complaint for the low end guns. Hatsan, Niksan, Pinty see that for all of them. My Hatsan Barrage is really bad. Niksan Ozark okay, Terminator pretty heavy but it is a very heavy gun.

I never bought one but several people polished and reshaped the sear.

Still one of the best deals ever with that 20% discount. Last time I looked just the rifle available.
It's lightweight and easy to carry even with scope and mod attached and can shoot dime size groups at 25 yards. In 22 it gets 60 shots per fill. It's the gun i find myself grabbing when i go out the door to take out smaller game. Haven't needed to do any trigger work on it as it is perfect the way it came. It may quit tomorrow but as of 1000 shots plus its working well!

I don’t base my decisions much on brand as I do model of gun. Some mfg their whole line is based on one design in that case, yes I do base it on mfg. Case in point, I really liked the look of the Aselkon MX-6. But there were enough issues with their valve in their better selling guns i didnt buy the MX-6.

I own rifles from mfg that a lot of people love to hate, hatsan, aea, umarex and evanix. But all of my rifles work great and shoot well. The Hatsans required a lot of tuning (hammer spring, return springs and reg pressure) to get them to index all of the time after adding a moderator.
And that's why I can't have a Hatsan. When it comes to working on them, I'm all thumbs and long shaky index fingers....kinda like a nightmare Proctologist.

Gamo, no parts, no service.
I absolutely love my 2 Gamo Arrows. They both have been dead solid perfect. I don't think my wife could have picked a better gift for me while tossing me headfirst down this rabbit hole. Saying that, I am very happy I went with the extended warranty for 3 years. Odors anyone think that Gamo will open up any, like Crosman was, with parts availability once there complete takeover is finished?

My Nissan Elf-W has a n excellent trigger on it. Just like my Pinty PC pup and my Akela. All 3 very smooth and surprising crunch free.

I have nerve damage and I've always shook especially when trying to do fine work.Thank goodness for my Techs. Keep me away from soldering irons.

But PCP are pretty simple.
Air source
Valve
Hammer
Trigger
Barrel/pellet holder

I tear most of them down pretty regular.
Hatsans are pretty straight forward.
Even the semiautos.

I'll be tearing into my Gauntlet G30 this weekend.

I've never opened my AEA Terminator or my Snowpeak Max 1.

The Max because it is new and I'm waiting until those mechanical engineering types to finish their evaluation.

The Terminator just becase it has worked perfectly since day 1.

I agree, the Niksan are just fine.
But I've seen complaints, usually the people that want 3 or 4 adjustments so they can create a trigger so sensitive a bump will cause it to fire. They expect all the adjustability of $2,500 guns on a $350 gun.

The early adopters over on AGN had some issues with the pinty trigger. Big issue with the pinty was they put weaver rails not picatinny on some of the guns.

In my mind, I picture spring, valves and screws flying across the house , if I do more than mount a scope, load a magazine, and air it up! Those thoughts have been enough to me to stay outta they guts!

Easiest by miles to work on are the AirForce utility platform, Condor, Talon, Escape. It is simple, robust and reliable. Only orings are in the tophat. So many options with which you can modify them.

Im hoping Talon Tunes has a 4th of July sale. Im thinking of buying the 30 cal kit for my Condor

A good old 4th of July sale would be nice. Unfortunately it not looking good at this point

.30 kit is on sale but $425 is still just too much. I didn't pay that much for the rifle.

A .257 Texan just popped up in the AGN classifieds for $650. Resistance is crumbling fast. Hopefully someone will get there ahead of me...
That .257 should be extremely interesting. The question about it right now is who producing ammo to feed it yet? .30 is a safer, and less expensive route if you gonna jump on one. IMHO anyway

Nielsen slugs would be what I would use.
Well, I'm not gonna push, but I bet that would be a beast. I read about the .257 last night, and article said that the 257 could very well outdo the .30 cal.

The tophat for the Texan provides a lot more air than the high flow condor tophat.

Add in a big plenum and regulator and it is a monster. Well over 100fpe with a heavy Nelson slug.

I really dont have a use for it. Haven't seen a raccoon in a year and it is a bit much for a squirrel

That is for the P-Force version. Maybe also the P-Pup. Nobody has complained about the trigger on the rifle that I have seen. I still argue it's the best of the 3, although I've only personally shot the pup and rifle.
