Is one just like it at a flea mkt. My wife and I frequent. Guy that owns it talks like it's very rare and ohh so valuable. His is the all black version, beat and scratched up pretty good. I listened to his pitch one time, smiled and uhh huh'd my way through, and walked away.

Yep! I remember thinking I wanted one when I was maybe 11-12 years old. Then the realities of stubby short thing and accuracy cured that affliction

And guys, am i misthinking, or having a brain annurism....but also, wasn't that abomination made to fire some kinda solid lead bb, not standard daisy food? Seems like I very clearly remember that as part of the sales add as well, at least on the solid black version I seen advertised as a kid. I'm 59, and scoured every gun magazine I could find from 5 or 6 years old, even my boy scouts of America magazines ....so anyway its been a while, back in the good old days when every place sold air guns.

Smoother than ex lax! I don't like to hurt the old guys feelings. Its funny, me being a 59 year old crippled up war horse, and they talk to me like I was a particularly slow grandchild or something., not knowing crap from shinola sometimes. I just let it go. It usually works in my favor when they have something I want or need.

The first time I saw a Taipan, I was thinking How Ugly! Someone used a 2x8 for a stock! LOL But they have since grown on Me. Doubt I would buy one,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but to each their own.

There was a Guy a while back trying to get O-rings for His GAMO. No one sells them. No Kits, and He had to directly go through GAMO.

Thank you for the suggestion. Gamo told me several times that they don't have parts or o rings for the pistol I purchased and good bye. Thanks again for your help. Bill

I don’t base my decisions much on brand as I do model of gun. Some mfg their whole line is based on one design in that case, yes I do base it on mfg. Case in point, I really liked the look of the Aselkon MX-6. But there were enough issues with their valve in their better selling guns i didnt buy the MX-6.

I own rifles from mfg that a lot of people love to hate, hatsan, aea, umarex and evanix. But all of my rifles work great and shoot well. The Hatsans required a lot of tuning (hammer spring, return springs and reg pressure) to get them to index all of the time after adding a moderator.

I really like the looks of some of the AEA rifles, but reading more Bad than good reviews kept Me away. But still many have good luck with them.

I only own a Terminator but it has been absolutely problem free. Only downside is the complete lack of magazines. If your two that came ever break you are hosed.

Firing 56gr Zan pellets over 900FPS, it is a monster.

I've got two of their rifles a 25 and 30 caliber. Only complaint i have with either one is the triggers. Just too heavy! No serious target work with either one.
