Self-Loading .357 Rattler

I’m sure the rattler doesn’t even come close to build quality or accuracy that an evol has
They are apples to oranges in comparison and they are made with different uses in mind. The Rattler is deadly accurate however. I've shot 4 different Rattlers and each has impressed me thoroughly. Also the build quality is top notch.

I believe in the power department the Rattler in 357 is 275fpe or somewhere around there. I believe the newest iteration had some power improvements of some 15fpe or so.

Without a doubt! To all of that

I'm just trying to get Mike to buy an evol lol

Any AAA rifle is as solid as they come. If you don't need semi auto or the power, Evol. If you are in a forest, a trek, or rough conditions, Evol.
I’m just trying to justify spending more money lol, love my huben, have 2 jsar raptor 30 cals, a standard and HP just trying to fill in that little void for a .357 😀👍 I already went down the big bore .510 road and not interested in that anymore.. I just think that the .30 and .357 is the new top dogs 🥰🥰 CT got me hooked on the 33.95 25 cals though too I love them too

Different tools for different jobs=more fun (and 🤑) for us! You may look at the Sidewinder in .30 as well. Smaller frame, lots of power, and the removable mag. It's not "better" than the Rattler by any means, but just a smaller sister product. What I personally like about the Rattler is the fixed mag click during loading...sounds funny but something about it is just fun. I also like that it has a high capacity. The larger size+weight seems to do well for the power as well. On the flip side, the removable mag allows quick pull throughs for cleaning. So that is a plus for the Sidewinder. Also if you plan to walk and stalk, the Sidewinder is preferable over the Rattler. The biggest determination for most consumers between the two that I have seen is usually regarding state laws for predator hunting. A couple states require .35 cal and that is where the Rattler shines. I think also if you want to go further distances on small game or predator hunting, the .357 will get a bit further out.

Just some food for thought. I like them both.

I find myself accustomed to shooting my huben.. love the power, quick adjustability etc… that’s why the rattler caught my eye 😉

If you have an intelligent ballistic Telescopic sight. You can perform to the extreme on this gun. You can shoot 130 kilograms of wild boars from 200 meters away. We have tried many times. All succeeded.

Took my Rattler .357 out again this A.M. for a coyote hunt. Seen a few but nothing close enough to shoot at. So I went plinking.. decent groups. I just made the switch to the Zan 125g for coyotes and so far I’m liking them. I have my hold overs figured out to 150yrds.
Just shot 3 to check info a little bit ago on setup and these numbers look pretty dang good to me.IMG_7844.pngIMG_7845.webp
