so as i have mentioned i plan to add a MINI in the future. it will be a bit. but pellets are on my mind.

the wife and i where out shooting today and i notice her BRK concept shooting the jsb 15.89 just was not hold as nice a group as the jsb .30 44.75 from my EVOL.
it was a bit windy so i figure thats something i shot both guns as did she results the same. my assumption is its the pellet weight playing the largest factor
we where shoot at about 50 yards and have at 25 yard notice little deviation. but at 50 a big diferance.

so the first question do you guys and or gals think the pellet is playing a big factor?
second how heavey a pellet can the MINI push effectively?

my only other suspicions is that the BRK is a bit ligher and is perched closer back as compared to the EVOL?

thats what i am leaning to.
can the EVOL MINI push a heavey pellet out to that range or best keeping ti the 15 ish range? i am getting a MINI regadless just thinking.

I’m shooting 18’s out of my mini after watching videos and talking to @CTAirgunner about his 100yd accuracy with that pellet. I think it’s safe to say the mini LOVES these pills.
the brk isn’t as powerful as the mini, and so might have different results with the 18’s. My ranger liked the crosman pellets as well as hades, but I never tried the 18’s because of the loopy trajectory I would get at the lower fpe it was shooting.

The 15.9 is what shoots best in my Cricket, just edging the 18.1. But there's no denying that they're terrible in any kind of wind. Have about 9k of them so won't be switching soon, but when those get low think I'm going to do more testing under both calm & windy conditions.
Will include H&N, JTS too. Haven't had a shred of success with JTS offerings so far (.22 & .30), but they've been very consistent in weight & head size... have to think at some point I'll own a barrel that agrees with them.

I tested the JTS 30 in the HPS and they were not bad, far better than the ZANS but they did not group as tight as the good ol jsb 44.75

Similar results in my .30 Cricket 2 Tac- not horrible, but clearly 3rd place behind JSB 50.15 & 44.75.

The JTS .22 cal, 25.39 were pretty awful out of the two rifles I tested them with, but not for lack of consistency.

Didn't try them in the Cricket, not really set up for pellets that heavy & it's too consistent & sweet shooting to be fussing with the reg. One of their lighter .22 offerings could be just the ticket tho. The Cricket has earned go-to-the-grave-with-me status, so it's worth spending some $ testing all possibilities in order to feed her the best.

I've had some success with the JTS 22gr .22 in my Evol 15". My barrel has slugged out to .218 though and the 22gr seem to have a slightly larger head size than the 18 or 25gr JTS I've tried. As mentioned by others regarding the JTS pellets though, very good out to 50 yards. Just okay past that out to 100.

I use exclusively the JSB 18gn when shooting the Mini. Some initial testing with the H&N 21gn. Barracuda proved successful. I think the 100+ yard egg video with Dana was Barracudas.
