I waited weeks for my Pinty Buster with a lot of anticipation. Not because of shipping channels, but because of being messed around by Pinty. I’ve mentioned that I don’t shoot it. Here’s the reason why:
1. it took almost five weeks for me to receive it. It was not shipped from California, it entered the FedEx system in Pennsylvania a week after Pinty said that it had shipped. Up until this time FedEx stated that it had never been transferred to them in California. Then I followed the tracking while it was enroute from Pennsylvania to Florida. Then when it made to the FedEx terminal in Atlanta, where it was mysteriously diverted back to The Pinty fulfillment center in California as requested by the shipper. When I contacted Pinty, they told me that they didn’t request it be diverted. I contacted FedEx and they assured me that Pinty had requested that it be diverted back to them. Pinty told me they were going to refund my purchase as they were out of stock. I told them that I would prefer the airgun, They stated that they would have to wait for its return and inspect the pistol. I wasn’t sure why they would need to inspect it. But, it took a week and then I eventually received it. After taking it out of the box, it was apparent to me what the issue was. The airgun was used and being returned by someone. How do I know that, because the previous purchaser marked the fill gauge with a permanent marker. I filled it anyway. I had designed a folding stock for it and wanted to try it out. I fired approximately 25 shots and then refilled it. I went to shoot it the next day, but it had leaked to 0psi. At that point I was over dealing with Pinty. I had ordered an AIr Venturi Alpha .22 at around the same time from PA - totally positive experience. So, the Pinty Buster hangs silently on the wall. All dressed up and nowhere to go
