Just put order in for the new Pinty 22 cal pcp. Figured I'd see if anyone else here was guinea pigging them over here. Comes in 3 varieties, that have picked up some lovely nicknames. Here is a summary of what I've learned so far:
1) P-Force: Talon lookalike, single shot, pic rail, uses huben cricket externally adjustable regulator, ~120 shots on reg
2) P-Pup: bullpup, pic rail, wood stock, regulated, 9 shot mag, ~80 shots on reg at ~28 fpe
3) P-Rifle: Carbine, 11mm dovetail, wood stock, regulated, 10 shot mag, ~80 shots on reg at ~28 fpe
4) P-Force and P-Pup have moderator, P-Rifle can remove cap to install a moderator. All are threaded M14x1.
5) They are modified versions of snowpeak rifles, made in China. (Upgraded versions of M18, P35, AND M16 IIRC)
6) There are codes for $40 off on pinty website, ships from Cali. Can get rifle for around $250 after taxes.

I went with the P-Rifle version based on preference for that style. There is a lot of corrections/fixes for the P-Force out there, and it seems to be the most prone to issues but also most popular. I also went ahead and grabbed a pinty 3-in-1 scope to try out on it, just seemed appropriate.

Anyway, since this is my preferred chat area, figured I'd bring it up and start potential discussions here.

As an owner of AirForce guns (you not me) I am happy (and a bit surprised) that you are delving into this gun and bringing us along for the ride. I have watched a video or 2 of the gun and am curious! Don't love clone stuff myself and if I wanted one I'd go AF Condor all day, but having said that....Hey look AirForce, it comes with a regulator!!!! And Pic Rails!!! Just saying😂

I did not go with the P-Force (AF clone). If I'm going to buy a space gun, I will buy the real space gun with its lifetime warranty. But... happy to bring you guys along for the P-Rifle. Other than the weird M14x1 threading choice and 11mm rails, I haven't heard any complaints on the rifle version yet. Trigger is supposed to be light and nice, smooth sidelever operation. But... who knows, maybe I'll go crazy and end up with a P-Force and all of the tuning work that goes into it. It is the only version with the Huben regulators in it, which is half the price of the gun on its own.

Can't wait to hear and see how it shoots groups! Nibs at Walnut and Steel got one in on his youtube channel and he was super excited about the excellent trigger on the P-rifle. It was just a mail call unboxing so no groups on the range yet. Looking forward to seeing your test results and your opinion on this small lightweight rifle!

He released range trip video today (and mentioned me 😂). I almost went P-Pup just so people didn't think I was copying Nibs. 😄
Inspire precision has one out on the P-Force. It grouped nicely while he complained about the trigger.

I watched some of that video....definitely NOT a powerhouse, I thought with that high a reg pressure it should do better myself. Keep us in the loop!👍

David at Inspire also showed how lousy the cocking bolt on the P-Force was too. Just machined poorly so it wouldn't cycle smoothly. And an 8 pound trigger? C'mon Pinty! Just saw Nibs video at the range taking first shots too with the carbine version of the rifle and the trigger was nice. Congrats on the shout out from Nibs!

Thanks! Makes a Papa's heart warm.

Tracking says mine is due for delivery Friday. It's FedEx, so many grains of salt taken with that claim from past experience. 🤷 But... I'm certainly hopeful!
