Just put order in for the new Pinty 22 cal pcp. Figured I'd see if anyone else here was guinea pigging them over here. Comes in 3 varieties, that have picked up some lovely nicknames. Here is a summary of what I've learned so far:
1) P-Force: Talon lookalike, single shot, pic rail, uses huben cricket externally adjustable regulator, ~120 shots on reg
2) P-Pup: bullpup, pic rail, wood stock, regulated, 9 shot mag, ~80 shots on reg at ~28 fpe
3) P-Rifle: Carbine, 11mm dovetail, wood stock, regulated, 10 shot mag, ~80 shots on reg at ~28 fpe
4) P-Force and P-Pup have moderator, P-Rifle can remove cap to install a moderator. All are threaded M14x1.
5) They are modified versions of snowpeak rifles, made in China. (Upgraded versions of M18, P35, AND M16 IIRC)
6) There are codes for $40 off on pinty website, ships from Cali. Can get rifle for around $250 after taxes.
I went with the P-Rifle version based on preference for that style. There is a lot of corrections/fixes for the P-Force out there, and it seems to be the most prone to issues but also most popular. I also went ahead and grabbed a pinty 3-in-1 scope to try out on it, just seemed appropriate.
Anyway, since this is my preferred chat area, figured I'd bring it up and start potential discussions here.
