When You Have Enough Airguns to Do All that You Desire…

Getting to know a new airgun is fun, plain and simple.
There's not much "need" for expensive airguns for any of us. They're a want. They're fun and they make us smile. Do I "need" any more than I already have? Nope. But I sure enjoy the process of getting to experience one that's new to me.

One of the biggest draws for trying new ones is the siren-call of "better." Be that accuracy, or shot cycle, or shot count, or etc.etc.etc.

If somebody asks you to drive a vehicle you've never driven before....you don't say no.

I have a gun for most tasks that I’d like to undertake with airguns. Regulated and unregulated, I like them both ways. There are some airguns that I rarely shoot. The only other rifle I’d seriously consider purchasing at the moment is a .30 caliber Huben K1. I don’t think they’re available.

I continue to read threads discussing acquisition of new guns or more guns. The more I read, the more I see more of the same. Most shoot pellets and some shoot slugs. There isn’t much there to discuss for me. I’m not pressed to compete and I’m not motivated (at the moment) to shoot 200 yards with an air rifle. Is anyone content with the airguns that they have?

From a practical standpoint, yes. I have what I need. For me it will come down to some limited run, or something that will appeal to me asthetically. One of my last was a HW50S 75th anniversary edition. I left iron sights on it because I wanted it to be a nod to our history. Ironically, I shoot it more than my more technically advanced models. My air gunning is more leisure oriented as opposed to outcome, or function based. Having something sitting in the rack that I admire appeals to me.
