My 25 yard or 45 yard?Would like to hear more about the Snowpeak Max 1. Maybe see some groups as well?
45 yard be a few days, not as easy for this old man to get down to to put fresh target up.
Slug gun, bullpup(ish). Long but action back by your ear.
Well put together, mostly aluminum.
No loose screws, burrs or quality issues with build.
Seems accurate, but I'm not the most stable shooter anymore.
Pingy when fired, right in your ear.
550cc air, tube, over barrel and plenum.
Uses a fill probe not a foster fitting.
Was supposed too be over 1000FPS in .25
Factory reg setting 190bar was about 850fps with H&N Heavy Slug 42gr.
Running at 220bar is 925fps.
Needs port work, internal ports are 4mm.
Two row picatinny on bottom.
Trigger is okay, a little stiff but seems to be getting a little better with use. Have not tried adjusting
A bit front heavy. I shoot off tripod so not an issue for me.
With scope, rings, air, full mag, ARCA, Picatinny extension and moderator, a bit over 12lbs
M28x1.0 thread on shroud, DFL A83 moderator adapter.
Side lever action is smooth and easy.
Big magazine, 16 rounds in .25.
Only 1 magazine.
Adjustable butt hook.
With Reximex Silent Force long, backyard friendly.
I think once I can get some ports opened up this will be the monster it is supposed to be.
Snowpeak seems to be hitting on all cylinders. M60B/Zelos and Max 1 are only slightly less capable than guns $2,000 more. Are you going to compete with them, no, are you going to hit what you aim at, absolutely. They also have a whole new series of light weight guns in the pipeline.
