What'cha doing air gun related today?

I shot my P35 25cal, Bullshark 177, and about half a tin of pellets with my PP750. It’s not hard when my mags are topped off I have 84 pellets ready to fly.

My new 8” plate

Spot the lone 25 cal impact 😂
What thickness is the plate ? I think maybe that's what I need, instead of my big boxes full of the rubber mulch. I'm spending more in rubber mulch, cardboard and duct tape than I prolly oughtta be. Lol.

I went out from 8:30 am to 10:30 this morning and shot 25 juvenile Starlings. It was great fun! Here’s a few photos. Wind was 6 to 12 mph and increasing. Most were a top the Harvest Store at 45 ish yards but I did take one out at 80 after sorting out my hold. The auger seen through the gap in the trees was 80 yards. IMG_2866.webp

Yes you have to take the little online quiz to sign up for the predator control program but it’s super easy, free and doesn’t require Utah residency or a hunting license.

You use an app to report and log the location then once a month there is a place in the county where you turn in the lower jaw bone. Just the lower jaw. 4-6 weeks later you get a check in the mail.
Payday! Lets all go and make some money. Lol😁

Fairly certain the o-ring popped itself, hence the cool breeze it gives. 😂
The barrel breech seal on my Brocock 22 gave out and i had to replace it today. Its a tiny oring and very hard for my old eyes to see. You have to flex it in just right and use a small wooden chopstick filled down to work it in and had to take the barrel off too as it was near impossible to put in without taking it off. 10 minutes start to finish to repair and i could of done it in four minutes thirty years ago! 🤣

That whole setup looks and sounds super freaking cool. Sounds like you put it to good use too good shooting! What’s your gun setup?

Yesterday was the first chance to do a little shooting I've had since Father's Day trip I took. Celebrated independence day by shooting my American pumper muscles, Crosman 362 Anniversary edition and Benjamin 397. Started with a tin can at 10, slyngers at 20, and my bell at 40. Trying to see what I was shooting at with open sights proved difficult, along with my off-hand skills, so ended up standing next to the tin can and trying again. Was nice to be out again, even if it was just a quick shot bit.

So the Zulus let’s me save multiple zeroing profiles so yesterday I went and did a real quick and dirty 43ish(?) yard zero with my 30gr Franco’s. Mostly for close range things at night so I’m not having to remember a lot of hold unders….. this morning pulled it out of the bag, verified the profile and let this dove have it…

Omg that sounds so tedious to try and figure out.
It wasn't bad after I used some leak detector fluid. I've got a bottle with a needle applicator and just dribbled a few drops in suspect places and it bubbled up. Pulled it apart and pulled the Orings out and checked them out for damage. Didn't find anything wrong with them. Cleaned everything up and put a little super lube on the Orings and reinstalled the same ones. I didn't have any new ones even in my capt Oring kit so took a chance and it's sealed up tight.

My brother is on vacation so I zipped over to my parents after supper and stole his prized pesting spot. The 2 mulberry trees are giant bait stations. One is at 35Y and other is about 45Y. Was out for a good 2 hours. Finished off the last of my H&N Barracuda hunter pellets, and then shot Hades 15.89 and a good half a dozen 21gr Patriot slugs. These slugs expand like crazy but I was still getting pass throughs! You could hear some of the slugs zinging through the air after a hit. This stray cat hangs around at my parents and is pretty mangy but good company....I lost count of how many I got....I know he stole at least 3🤣

Smack any steel? That’s my favorite part of 25 cal.
I know what you mean. The SMACK of those big ol’ fat .25’s on a steel spinner has got to be one of the most satisfying sounds in air gunning, but sadly no. No steel today. Just a little water filled soda can killin’ which is equally satisfying but then the neighbor came home and I had to pack it up.
