What'cha doing air gun related today?

Looks beautiful, and reminds me that the M1A needs another treatment.
I did about 8 or 9 coats on this thing but the first 4 were to accelerate the process, heavily diluted with mineral spirits, then a coat a day for 3 days, then let it sit for a week, wooled it, added another, and will be waiting a week before doing another, I plan to continue this process till the barrel for this rifle is done and I can shoot it.

Worked on sighting in my M1A and Diamondback springers. Both are on paper, and some hold practice was done, but about as much as I managed. Also finally got tired of smoking barrel on M1A and cleaned the barrel, but still some dieseling...

Next I pulled the scope off my Avenger and made sure the pic rails were tight on it. Reinstalled the scope and corrected the slight cant I had from original install (used my gravity string like a good Papa this time). Scope is still maxed elevation with gun shooting about an inch low at approximately 37 yards. The goal will be to play with sighting proper again at 25 tomorrow, but maxed elevation is frustrating. Did grab some chrony numbers while test shooting a mag after scope corrections (actual weight is 29.32gr...)

Finally, put another coat of wood elixir (board paste) on the M1A while I cooked dinner.

Started morning with another coat of board wax, then polished it in and put away the M1A. After lunch I got out the P17, dsx-45, and Crosman M1 Full Auto for some trigger time. Tried to practice 2 eyes open, which was fine with the laser on the DSX-45. This was also my first shots with my M1, which I got back in November. Nothing serious today, just plinking around.

That M1 spits out a ton of bbs. Lots of time wasting to be had with that bad boy! Good times.

My favorite airgun day of the week, pump it up Wednesday. The 880 and 362 let me take on the can cutting challenge withthem. Dr. Pepper held out both rounds, but that was 30 minutes of pure bliss for this ole Papa.

Today airgun related, I upset my wife. Her alarm was still on even though we have the day off. That woke me up. I got up, did a few chores and decided to shoot a few pellets with my 177 Bullshark. I thought she was up and just laying in bed still. She comes out angry “you know I can hear that in the bedroom?!”

It’s backyard friendly, not wife friendly. I fell into a perfect test for “how quiet is my rifle”

I guess I’ll put my DFL Sumo on it instead of the Tatsu next time. 🤣

Donny needs to make a silencer we can put on our wives. He'd be richer than Musk!
