What'cha doing air gun related today?

Last edited:
Hey cool! Let me know how those 13.43 and 14.35s Jsbs group and their speeds if you can... If you EVER get your gun!? Lightest I have shot with my S510 that were good were the 15.89 Hades. (Too light past 50Y though for me) Sadly crosman 14.3 were sub par.
I’ll go through it just like I did with the SAM
unboxing to target shooting on here.

I’m going to do the same thing with the Airacuda too.

I like it when people do that and I think more of us should everyone has different opinions and experiences to share.

Even if the Airifle has been reviewed 100 times before. There are always changes in manufacturing and new ammo to try. 👍

As far as speeds go, I still don’t have a Chrono lol first you have to have a working and worthy (S510 for me) gun to worry about such things 😉.

Wow. I'm almost ashamed..... Almost that is 😉

My pellet inventory consists of about 350 of 500 count tin cphp .177.

Edit..

A quick 10m retry (5 shots)

Man just can't get'em in no matter 😭
Hateful, how long do you make a tin of cphp’s last, you reuse them when you can right? How many shots do you usually get from one can of 500?

Man don't see how you got all that stuff going on and not have a crony. Spend $2000 on a gun but not 30 - 140$ on a chronograph.. lol. .. especially needing to set up and tune one in to shoot any consistent.. I don't guess I ever had a gun stay face value out the box .

Remember bud, I’m new to all of this. I’m going to get one 😁. I hadn’t purchased one yet because I thought it was kind of like buying a radar detector for a bicycle (Origin).

Weather depending. Mostly average 1 -500 tin every 10 days . Then I got kin working at a Walmarts so I don't go in mys lf sis will pick up a tin and drop it off as needed . She always brings in stuff saving me a trip to town closest one is 45 miles round trip . She works there and lives nextdoor.. so pellets are not a big deal to get overall . Just walk in Walmart everyday low prices 😎😉

Ya, I have reused low powered soft catch trap ones. Only damage is rifling and just shoot to 10m- 50 foot , but not in my better guns ..

My airgun related post today besides shooting 150 rounds of JSB Exact 25.39 pellets in my Artimus M16A 25 caliber rifle getting dime size or less groups at 25 yards is having to install a longer dovetail to picatinny 14 slot mount. The first one I got from Amazon was a 9 slot mount and I could never get the right eye relief with the scope. Now it goes back far enough you don't have to crook your neck forward and the eye relief is perfect! Man I love the 25 to 30 yard accuracy out of this rifle and the included all metal moderator with metal baffles works perfect as well. I've got about 8 other moderators that are 3D printed mostly and I can't test any of them on it as It's M18 threads instead of 1/2 x 20 on the rifle. Donny makes the A44 adapter to solve this but $50.00 seems excessive when the one that came with it works so well! Happy shooting all.

Zeroed this lefty lovely.🙂

Now with a fixed mag optisan scope.10x.
Decent glass, and dials good.

Spent half of Sunday, chasing slug tunes, my head was hurting.

Going to have a few months, pellets only. Fixed mag, sensible power. Happy days.

This time next year, I'll be getting the dioptric sights out again.😉
The circle of life.

You were shooting slugs out of the Daystate? Very nice gun btw! I have dabbled with slugs on the S510, not remarkable and surely not better than the ol 18.13gr pellets. But we don't always like no for an answer do we!?😅🤦‍♂️

No, not the Daystate. I wasted time with the RTI prophets.
Chrono, speed, head scratching etc, it's hardly worth the effort, especially when my eyes are altered each month.
The Daystate is good with NSA 20.2 grain, slugs but I've a lifetime supply of pellets. So pellet shooting for the next few months.

Another relic sees freedom after the slug testing stopped. 🙂

My ever faithful Kalibrgun Cricket .22, basic service today. Wipe down and chrono test.
Perfect as always.

The Cricket always makes me smile, it's the only pellet shooter that has a dope card out to 140 meters.

Ordered direct from Kalibrgun late 2016, delivered 3 January 2017, I was snowed in for a week. Couldn't leave the village to collect.

Fortunately the cricket has never let me down, one breach seal o ring replaced, that it.

Definitely the most accurate pellet shooter I've ever used.

Thanks my little friend, 26 and a bit inches of pure accuracy, Kalibrgun Cricket.🙂
