What'cha doing air gun related today?

I 100% believe it… I’m just using an Icotec 320+ that I added a decoy to. I only use Bluetooth if the stock sounds aren’t working. But I’ve called more in the past 3 weeks then most of the guys I know have called in all year. It doesn’t need to be fancy at all.

Good luck out there! I can’t wait to see some pics!
Last week I dropped one that was held up just inside the wood line 140 yards, you could hear a loud THUD and the eyes dropped. With that said I was going to call ita night, my .308 Texan even with a moderator is still loud and thought it spooked everything. As I walked back to get the wheeler with nothing but a head lamp and my phone (come back to pick up my gear with the wheeler) I looked to my left, someone forgot to tell them they were supposed to run off, to top it off, I forgot to film the one I shot. Pic 1- 140-yard shot, pic 2 just a close up, coyote was just inside the opening and pic 3.

Oh man I bet that .308 Texan puts a freaking hurt on them! I’m back to my urban permission tonight. The big dark one that I’ve been calling “blackie” has been spotted lingering around again… idk if it’s the moon or what but they’ve flipped from morning to to evenings apparently.

I almost regret not taking up meth as hobby instead hahaha it would be less addicting than chasing these sage jackals.

Well I woke up at 3:30am to hit the coyote contract, where I saw and couldn’t stop the coyotes like 3 weeks ago… I heard them howling up a storm at 4:45am but then the whole area went dead… So I mainlined caffeine all day to make it through my 10 hour shift.. but then my demented brain to go thinking “if they weren’t out in the morning then surely….”

Y’all don’t be like me…just enjoy your airguns, your sleep, gas money and family time. Because this fever I have is stupid….. yeah so long story short I still stopped on my way home a ran a quick set because I’m just too dumb to know when I’m beat😂😂😂🔫

@Cantona256, kudos to you for having the “will” to give it another try… Eventually the coyotes will present themselves to you because of your efforts and enthusiasm…🙏
It’s like any new skill right? You gotta study to learn the techniques then you gotta go out and put in the time. There’s so many factors involved from sounds one uses, proper setup and all that. Not to mention how moon phase, temperature and weather affects their movements. It’s a lot but it’s fun to me…when it’s not frustrating as hell 😂😂😂.

I’m also lucky in that I live in a beautiful place so my stands often have the added value of just being pretty to look at.

So thanks for the kinds words I appreciate it. I’m probably a little crazy to be trying to do this but I just turned 39 last week and I wanna do something “big” (for me at least) while my knees and other joints will still handle the rough country. Plus I always see a lot of talk about “this is a great coyote gun” but I don’t see a lot of dead coyote pics and videos with an airgun next to it. There are definitely some guys getting it done out there though. I know that for a fact. I wanna be one of those guys and I want the scope cam footage for when naysayers say it can’t be done haha.

Oh and if some manufacturer wanted to send me a gun to play with and “prove” it’s a coyote gun I wouldn’t hate that 😂😂😂.

Zeroed my impact at 53 yards. I'm shooting my cast noe 30 grain bobs boat tail. I haven't shot it hardly at all since I bought it months ago. I couldn't leave it alone. It held air perfectly. It had all the power I needed but no, I had to install the 720 plenum and power block. Then it wouldn't shoot as hard as the original mk2 power plenum 😡. So I took it back apart and polished all of the parts that involved the valve. The springs. The hammer. The valve rod. Etc. I finally got the power back up to where it was before I changed to the mk3 parts. Then the regulator started leaking. Well considering it was still the original Orings in it okay. Had the nightmare of removing the Oring that's down in the regulator bore. Figured that out. Then had another slow leak and by that time I just forgot about it. Then found out about the specialty Oring that seals around the valve rod so of course I had to try it also thinking maybe that one was leaking. Well it did just exactly what it was claimed to do and eliminated the slow first shot.🥳🥳 Rifle still leaked!! Got tired of that and got some non corrosive leak detector and some bottles to apply it in specific places. Yep, there it was right between the power plenum and the power block. Pulled it apart and pulled the Orings but couldn't find anything wrong with them. Went ahead and reinstalled the original Orings and wouldn't ya know it, it only leaked a couple of bar a week. I would've installed new Orings but the Oring kit I bought from Captain Orings didn't have the right size. I've since bought the right ones from Orings and more but have been just to lazy the replace them.
Sorry for the LONG post
