Choppin away at those cans PapaT! Lots of fun.I just tried to split a couple more cans. They won these rounds, but it was nice. Cap shot 50 yards to try and dry Canada, Pinty was 25 yards looking for a peppery Dr. View attachment 12554View attachment 12555View attachment 12556View attachment 12557
I hope the flooding isn't too bad in your neck of the woods. One of my brothers ended up evacuating to my parents' place down south of you in Arkansas, because of the rain.Ordered a Barra 250Z in 25 caliber and a DonnyFL Yokozuna to quiet it down. Also got an assortment of m-lok picatinny rails in tan the same color as the rifle stock. It's an early birthday present! It's been raining here in Missouri for 6 days and I'm going stir crazy being stuck inside.
what did you go with?Swapped out the buttstocks on my Atomic and Pathfinder and did some sweet plinking from 25 to 64 yards with my Pathfinder XR… That gun simply rocks, wine corks cut in half out to 64 yards. Yes, I miss, but not often…
I appreciate it man. Hope your entire family is safe and sound as well!I hope the flooding isn't too bad in your neck of the woods. One of my brothers ended up evacuating to my parents' place down south of you in Arkansas, because of the rain.
I put the a Mission First Tactical Buttstock on my Pathfinder…what did you go with?

While not directly to do with air guns, I have been working on my compressor during this crazy weather spring is dropping on us here in N.Y. The compressor is a Tuxing twin cylinder and I'm just looking to improve head temps and crankcase oil. So far i have managed to lower head temp enough to justify the work. 1) Use the right type of oil. 2) Never use just water, use something like RV/MARINE coolant, I use a 1gal water to 2gal coolant in a 5gal Igloo cooler. hours before use I will have a frozen 2-liter bottle of water to add to the cooler (precool) Wait 1 1/2 hr. then i add 2 vacuumed packed blocks of ice, let just the pump run until the temp stabilizes, I have added foil to most of the water line to help keep heat at bay, Also what help a lot has the shower head that I can't take credit for someone passed on to me and it works great on mixing the warm water evenly. I wish i would of tested it before I did the improvements but i know it didn't run this well and this cool, START TEMP 48 STARTING PSI-2500. ending Temp 117. ending PSI 4400- TIME 25 min. Next up will be oil temp using heat sinks and fans. Not looking to have a longer run time, I think 25 min is long enough, just want to make it run cooler for longevity, its 4 years old and still running strong.Sometimes we have time to shoot, sometimes we don’t. Sometimes we only have time to organize or do maintenance.
