Grabbed some pellets from Hatsan 4th sale. Free shipping and 25% off. The price of what they have in stock for H&N is much lower across the board than pyramid even before the sale.
Wow looks like I messed up again. How is their packing with the pellets? I have had bad results from some places, so I worry about that.

Well, I tried them out.

Wayne w alien airguns messaged me and the adjustable hammer end for a Nova liberty is built. I have 1 on my .177 but the .22 is without. I'll be able to actually tune it now. He also said he can trim an Fx barrel liner system to a custom size. I had asked and his experiment with another customer worked out well so that may happen down the road.

Got in some tiny ducks for target shooting. They are supposed to glow in the dark, so maybe I'll get to try that out some time.

I told the kids, "Mom finds cowboys and Indians too easy, so I got her tiny ducks."
She told me "Now I can relive my duck hunter video game days, except these ducks don't fly."

I'm not sure if I will actually get to shoot any of my ducks I bought. 🫣😂20260706_194156.webp

Just received an Orion magazine for my Uragan2 700 .25. I am now shooting Altaros 49.5gr slugs and they are too long for the factory mags so I needed a 3D printed mag to run the long, high B.C. Altaros.

This is the first 3D printed mag I have ever purchased so I don't have any other brand 3D mags to compare this Orion against. Many folks report high praise for the Orion mags so perhaps they are as well made as any of the competitor's mags??? Visual appearance suggest the 3D mags are not nearly as refined as most factory mags.

The good thing(s) about the Orion U2 mag is that the long Altaros 49.5gr slugs fit into the mag with room to spare. Also, the mag is easy to load with the magnetic, removable cover. The spring on the Orion mag is noticeably stronger than the AGT factory mag. However, since the Orion mag will be loaded with longer and heavier than average projectiles then the stronger spring is perhaps a better choice.

The bad thing(s) about the mag is that it is a little too snug fitting into the mag cut-out in the U2s block. Shoving the Orion mag into the rifle requires more effort than it should to seat the mag, They other thing that is bad about the Orion mag is that it was not designed with the mag centering groove/notch that aligns with the spring-loaded centering pin inside the magazine cut-out in the block. The factory mag has a notch that the spring-loaded pin center's itself into which properly aligns the mag with the breech opening.

I'll likely measure and add a concave spot on the Orion mag with a Dremel for the U2s mag centering pin to locate into.

If the Orion mag feeds and functions properly it will meet the needs I bought it for. We'll see if it functions well later this morning.

EDIT: I found the problem with the Orion mag and why it was too tight in the U2s block. The magazine case that holds the rotor was .0045" thicker on one side than the other. It wasn't the face-plate, the face-plate was equal thickness on all sides. It was the main case itself. The narrow side of the Orion case was the exact same dimension as the factory AGT mags but the other side of the Orion mag was .0045" thicker which was causing the binding.

I sanded the mag to equal thickness and also created a concave divot for the rifle's spring-loaded mag centering pin to fit into.

I tested the rifle using the Altaros slugs and the lightly modded Orion mag now feeds, fits and functions perfectly. :)
