What’s your latest airgun purchase?

Got my Mystery Boxes! A nice KYL spinner (I’m insanely excited about it, I’ve wanted one for years) 1 tin of Norma Gold Trophy Pellets, 1 tin of Air Arms Diabolo field pellets, some Firebird targets, another backpack, and one of the new Black Bunker BM8s in .22! I’m not crazy about springers typically, but this one is so unique, I dig it! I think I’ll be trying my luck again! So much fun. Also, side note, I realized I had the dust caps on backwards after I took the picture so, my bad.

Can go wrong with some 16gr AA pellets...And that new springer might shoot them decently as well!? Nice bundle😎 Def a good shop/truck gun...maybe skip on the bayonet though 😅....sends the wrong message

I have to say, I think a bayo on a springer is the worst idea I’ve ever heard. That being said, I want one. Only because it’s such a terrible idea, I see it being very rare one day and I appreciate the obscure. Also, I believe it to be more of a bushcraft / survival thing. Like for hunting. I’m big in bushcraft.

Congrats on the cool stuff you got man. That black bunker rifle looks like it will be fun to shoot! Enjoy.

It is very nifty! I enjoyed it a lot and hope to shoot more today. I will say, to me, it is loud. Even for a springer. And I don’t think a moderator would help. I need to order another DonnyFL Yokozuna in .35 (I really like the modularity and QD feature of these moderators) for my Airacuda, so I might throw an extra adapter in the cart just to try my .30 Yoko on it. I don’t think it will help at all to the shooter because it appears to be the actuation of the gas piston that is so loud to the shooter’s ear. But, it’s $20 for an adapter, and science!

My latest airgun purchase?

➠ That was for a friend in Peru

who has a difficult health situation —
that complicates his financial situation....

And he has no recourse to avoid the exhorbitant prices that the airgun dealers in Peru charge — making 80% to 100% profit from the local airgun community....

➠ So, I thought I help him out and bring him a gun from the US — so he can escape the Peruvian inflated cut-throat prices.

😃

Now, we're just waiting for the Peruvian Bureau of Weapons and Explosives to give the authorization for the Notos to enter Peru.... 🙄
(Yeah, even to bring a tin of pellets to Peru requires a bureaucratic process of several papers and a government authorization.... 🤦🏻‍♂️ You've got to love the US 2A! 👍🏼)

Jesus has blessed me through others so many times — even through airgunners on the forums that I've never met in person! — why not bless someone else?! 😃

Hey that's 3x better than nothing! Say it was off by 10% you still have a baseline! Than if the gun is shooting off, sounds off etc, you still have comparison data. Love my prochrono with App....I forget how fast something was shooting and I have it all saved on my phone for reference.😍 And to be honest my springers are on the chrono as much as my PCPs are 🤣

I have been browsing these chronos on Amazon as well...
I talked to Florida_man he has a lot of different ones that he tries out and very inexpensive. I could have two of the ones he told me about for the same price. I just wanted something that was easy to buy, easy to return if there is an issue.

...indeed, but I could not deal with the set-up procedure involved...this has kept me from trying to use other chronographs as well...

...understand that I am citing this as a limitation of my abilities and not the chronographs per se...

...although not my very latest purchase on 4/6 I bought my first chronograph and not much since...@ $600 sort of blew the budget, eh...

...the Lab Radar unit had my attention, but the Garmin XERO C1 Pro is the first chronograph that I can actually set up and use...I had been tempted by that $200 FX unit as well, but knew that would not work out for me either...the XERO C1 was so easy to set up and use, even I could do it...

...I did manage to scrape up enough $$$ for a few tins of pellets more suitable for my new Ghost HP...

...before the Ghost I considered .22 cal. 18.13 grain pellets heavy...so...the latest is more pellets...

...that's aboot all I will be getting for a bit...
