Spring/Piston Tune in a tube

Anyone ever use Tune in a tube on their springers?
Thinking of using it on my Diana 34

Well what is your intended use for the oil? metal protector on the outside? General cleaner? Internal lube, or barrel cleaner oil?

I never used it .. some do and day it's good and some don't .

I'd go to like GTA forums and look at what's said on it there . Lota springer guys there with opinions ..

I've used krytox , moly , copper neverseize/Beeman lazor lube .

If it's twanging or something . I'd think I'd just break the gun down clean inspect things and of nothing looks out or the ordinary reassemble with fresh lubes ..

Mater of fact I just took one apart a week ago to clean and freshen lube in it .. I get a lot of dirt and dust working upin the action around the stocks openings.

Not that I practice what I preach but maybe this stuff could do .

Choose a tar and a moly and have it for rebuilds/tunes, or refresh jobs

They claim that if you use tar you should just need to apply it to the center 5 or so coules ( maybe a inch +/- worth of center of mainspring) .

A little twang don't bother me much unless it's excessive if that I go back in and inspect stuff .. I'd assume you'd not want to apply too much and it causes things to bogg down . Sometimes twand is from a worn or loose/ poor fitting guide . The guide in this gun is getting long in the tooth and twangs a bit more then before ..lol
Like hw a guy use to go to pyramid and buy a new factory guide ($8) but now you can't .. hw has really feel off bad . Seems it's all pre-order or no longer available ... How the mighty have fallen ..lol
