Great, 20 shot minimum groups going forward.Anyone watch this Hornady podcast?
Lots of good info on their channel.I like Hornady, I have a better understanding of twist rates watching one of his videos on it.
I’ll take a screenshot of the numbers. But pretty much, 30 shot groups to be a telling sample. I listened/watched on my iPad as I cooked dinner and did the dishesI can set in front of a computer long enough to get through that : (
anyone care to post the jest of it?
How many shots do targeted pest or game allow? One, maybe two… Paper? Unlimited amount of shots to get you there… For me? I personally don’t give a hoot how many shots I can cluster at any particular distance. If I don’t connect while plinking, after three shots? I simply move along… If I keep missing at known subsequent distances? I may be having an off day. Then I go find something else to do…Great, 20 shot minimum groups going forward.
No,I get it. Small groups lack enough data to show what the gun and shooter are definitively capable of.
I guess I should buy more pellets, like I need an excuse.

Respectfully Luis, I think you’re missing the point of the discussion in the video. More data points are better than less. How many shots do targeted pest or game allow? One, maybe two… Paper? So 20 -3 shot groups are less data then just 60 shots?Respectfully Luis, I think you’re missing the point of the discussion in the video. More data points are better than less.
Take hunting for instance, more information about your prey is better than less, right?
A clearer understanding of yourself and your Airgun is obtained by a large enough sample size of data.
@Pumacarl that’s a terrible analogy with the mini van situation. I think if you did a little research, you would find that many things have been learned from racing cars that trickle down to even a minivan. Performance and safety wise.
I'd have to break up that testing myself. Things start getting fuzzy after about 20 shots at paper for me, more so at 10 meteresSo 20 -3 shot groups are less data then just 60 shots?
I guess I can understand fatigue after so many shots cause I suffer that and / or I tend to get hold lazy ..
The Nine is fine by me, my preferred handgun caliber…View attachment 10610Yes. 50 shot group with a new handgun. The two high ones were grip pressure, and the rest tell me I need a sight correction.
Disagree, what's been baked into me is stay off of race tracks with minivans. It doesn't matter that they have improved because of racing, they are still out of place.Respectfully Luis, I think you’re missing the point of the discussion in the video. More data points are better than less.

There is always more to learn, and sometimes seeing things from a different point of view is a tremendous opportunity.
I've shot more .45 auto in my lifetime. It's accuracy out past 50 yards is to be reckoned with. .40 mostly because I had to, and the nine is just easier to package. I prefer it to .40 for sure. The Nine is fine by me, my preferred handgun caliber…![]()
Says the guy who enjoys modifying “value”Airguns, probably get your rocks off when it out performs higher end ones.Disagree, what's been baked into me is stay off of race tracks with minivans. It doesn't matter that they have improved because of racing, they are still out of place.
