Update:
I’ve been using a pellet pen to reshape all the damaged thin skirts. I put 5 or so in the pen and push it very firmly against my work bench. The skirt is re-shaped by the pellet head behind It, results have been very good.

Forgot the one in the pen, I removed them from the back of the pen. I noticed that if I push them all the way through it created some scoring on the pellets.
